Don't Stick Me by mincrmatt12
This is a game where one day, some scientists accidentally created a blue (maybe purple? I'm colorblind, tell me below) spiky monster, who can send out shockwaves that hurt!
Enough pseudo-backstory, this is a game revolved around not dying, and getting out of the area you are in. To do that, get to the far right of the level
The scientists carry syringes, and give you "hurty stuff" through them, and after they do that, the run away. If you can kill them before they get you, you get a bit of health, although if you kill them after, you get some, but not as much
==== Controls ====
A/D: Move left/right
Space: Jump
1: Attack
Side note: Running from source (required on a mac or linux machine) requires python and these two modules: pygame and pymunk
Have fun, and please give feedback.
The game can also run under wine, if nessecary

Essentially an endless runner with an end.
However the audio is not that bad though it gets a bit repetitive quickly. This game has a very strong mood/style to it with the graphics and audio. It's a very good idea I just think it needed better execution. I understand it's your first ludum dare (my first ludum dare was probably worse than this!), so I hope you have better luck next time :).
