Treasure and Ice by KeyLime

[raw]
made by KeyLime for Ludum Dare 49 (COMPO)

Bring Treasure back to your home but beware of unstable ice! Recommended to be played locally with 4 people because AI is very basic. For no AI, select four players.

Perma Death option means if you fall through ice you are permanently out of the round.

Game seems to end really fast - it looks like it ends as soon as everyone has gathered at least 1 gold? It at least causes the games with AI in them to end in less than 20 seconds.

Are the AI too good or am I missing something I can't manage to bring back more than 1 Or

At first I didn't know what was happening because the screen is so big that I couldn't see my player :D

The AI seems to just go to the gold in a straight line, so you can just walk a bit on their path and cause them all to fall in the water :)

The game never ended though, I got all the gold from the center in my home and there was nothing else to do?

Would definetly have to try this game with 4 human players to see how fun it is :)

There is a bug that causes the game to end after 4 gold is collected. I will have to wait to fix this after the 2 week game review period. Sorry folks! UPDATE: I pushed the fix up since it was breaking the entire game. It's all good now

Cool idea! I thing it would be more challenging if ice would break after first touch (adding unbreakable areas for balance should be ok in that case)

A cool concept, though busted if someone walks in a circle twice. Maybe making the cracking probabilistic could help account for that?

That's a fun concept . Unfortunately I played solo but I find the execution pretty good (AI aside). You did a good job
