Handle With Care by Liss1024
"This platform is quite old - stabilizers, magnetic cargo locks don't work, but at least it still flies!"
- letter from J.M.
Now you can deliver goods of unclear purposes, content and owners, and if you will get lucky - you even will be paid. Put on your magnetic boots to prevent falling from the platform, your good old hazmat suit to not die from polluted world around you - and hold on controls tight - this is gonna be hell of unstable flight.
Everything was created from scratch as submission for Ludum Dare 49
Controls:
We advise using controller
A/Left Trigger/LMB to fire left engine
D/Right Trigger/RMB to fire right engine
R/B to quick restart
To win you have to deliver at least half of boxes to complete level. Also you need to put your platform at landing gear to trigger level end.

Gameplay is hard but rewarding. It feel great to learn and master this way of locomotion.
Graphics are good too.
Good job.
The graphics were great and it all formed a great package.
well done to all involved!!!!
The fact that you can reset so quickly is good for this type of gameplay. Looks good, sound good, handles good. I'd buy that. :D
I took me some time to get to the end but it was just hard enough to not completely frustrate me.
I love the use of the physics here and the graphics and sound are really nice.
Some levels could use a bit more balance though, or maybe I'm just to bad at this ^^.
I really loved it and it gets overall a high score from me.
And so - a cool game, but I could not master the controls normally, and amogus enrages).
To make things worse it wasn't even obvious what I was supposed to do in the first level. Do I have to land in the upper platform? Or on the one on the right? What if only the cargo lands but not the ship? Only when you learn to control the ship and what the objective is it becomes fun and it's a really good concept!
Next time work on your tutorial guys, if you want to make something as hard as this make the first level as simple as possible and explain exactly what should be done, in particular in this game point out where and how you should land.
I hope this is useful, congrats on your game, I liked it!
The control scheme was super novel, yet intuitive, so it was fun to try to get better at it!
Obviously you went for a sort of "rage game" direction with this, but I will say that even with that in mind, I do think the game is a little TOO hard. :sweat_smile: FIguring out how to navigate your ship while keeping the cargo on it is MORE than challenging enough on its own. Adding fuel to the mix almost seems unnecessarily cruel :sob:
I'd love to see this expanded upon though, it's a super neat idea!
Art looks great in general and the game feel is all spot on. Overall a really solid, simple and complete feeling jam game, great stuff!
Definitely fits the theme, and it's crazy how much the cargo shifting around really messes with your muscle memory.
Here's the VOD (First game I played that day): https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1171333200
Anyways! Great polished game! Good job!
Gonna fix this right up!
@mistagiggles thank you!
@falcondance thank you, we found them cute too, they are too cute not to like ^^
@sunderbird thank you back for playing out game!
@federico-giorgi yep, we are aware. Controls like this one usually require a lot of fine tuning to get right.
@wyl-team thanks, we are planning to release the patch once jam is over
@devundead what a kind words! thx!
@bastienre4 thank you
@aarc-noa glad you liked it!
@d3w it was too hardcore for some of us as well, lol
@san4es9524 thanks :)
@zef1r yeah, we've spent a lot of time tinkering with physics of the platform, nice to see people liked it :)
@juanrod707 thanks!
@curleysam haha i see what you did here... package, yeah? x)
@artemy-zen ours did as well, great advice btw

@erikengineengineer hey 77 isn't even that much
@paulsams we r sussy bakas
@jackaljk sorry that your experience was this tough. i tried my best to simplify the level as much as i could. we'll keep your feedback in mind next time, thank you for taking your time and writing this extensive useful comment.
@lukewaffel trust me we agree with you, ui is kind of a mess
@coleslaughter aw bummer, sorry, we play tested several dozen times and it felt hard, but not too hard. We'd recommend you to use the controller for this game also.
@vimlark thanks, qwop was a biiig inspo for us. we probably went too hard on the difficulty though.
@amikatag does it? i mean it is fairly graphically simple game. did you download the chaos version?
@3mpty aww thanks
@t1h4n спасибо :)
@jitspoe thanks for playing our game, i think UE by default caps the game at 120 fps. Did you download the chaos version? it is pretty heavy on gpu. we didn't have ay performance issues on the regular version.
@scrawach thank you kindly
@leokrechmer understandable, but to be fair player rewards kind of take a lot of time to make. thank you for playing!
@zimny11 glad to hear it was in a good way :)
It's funny because at start it was almost impossible to handle the platform.
But then it makes sense and feels good.
Really liked the game a lot.
Could actually be a full game, with easier controls but some moving, doors, enemies etc...
I kind of like this little AmongUs delivery guy from the future.
Really nice approach of the theme :-)
well done !
While I found it VERY hard at times ( I can relate, my entry is hard too!), it is an enjoyable experience, which is a difficult balance to strike! (see what I did there?)
Very Nicely Done!
@ideaspersecond glad to see you enjoyed the game's difficulty
@proxy-games thanks for the feedback, also i think you can press R to restart the level
