Light Warper by SeaM00se

FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING: This game contains quickly flashing lights and bright colors. Do not play if you have any experience with epilepsy or its symptoms.

(I'm aware that my name in Itch.io and in this site don't match, I still need to change my name here to my new one, Icosmophedron)

Shoot through waves of enemies all while the game itself gets more and more unstable... You control a small blue square that is tasked with clearing as many levels as possible. Each level, a set amount of enemies will be placed randomly. If you can defeat all the enemies, you will advance to the next level.

But, be careful! The bar on the top indicates the game's Stability. As time goes on, the game will grow more unstable. Hitting the walls will increase the game's instability, but if you can manage to clear a level without missing a single shot, the game will become more stable.

If your health drops to 0, or if the game becomes too unstable, you will be destroyed. How far can you go?

You have no cover image. You can add it even after deadline.

Fun game! I really like the graphics.

I did get the hang of the controls after a few tries, but I still found them a little difficult. I think the turning speed could be reduced a bit.

Good job overall!

Fun game, controls felt a little clunky but I got used to them after a while. Graphics and sound are excellent!

My spacebar barely survived the fight, but I got to level 22!

Cool perspective of retro-screens. Enemies aren't very variative, don't you thought of joining health and stability? Pretty unexpected reflection angle :)
The game is pretty joyable, and graphics are nice, I think it would be better to add image cover here!

@brusnika Yeah, I planned to have a bit more enemy variation but couldn't make anything in time. I planned to have some that may shoot like a splitter-bolt, or an enemy that would try to move behind you to hit you in the back. However, I did manage to hide one secret in the enemy's sprite, but I might have hid it too well, and I'd be surprised if anyone actually spent the time to find it.

Fun game. I found the turning speed to be too quick but it's something I got used to after few tries. The SFX and visuals are decent.

I like the look and feel of the game! The overall concept is very solid! I do like the how the health recharges after every level. Makes the game much more enjoyable!

Nicely done!

I really Liked the retro style of the game. The controls were easy to use and the effects were awesome. I think it should have more variety of enemies.

I liked the game. It was fun! I had a little trouble with the tank controls, maybe try a top down shooter approach with mouse aiming? All in all it was a really beautiful artstyle!
