Very fun use of the physics! Loved the atmosphere and chill vibes :) Nice work
Took me some time to understand I could grab everything, not just the phone! Being able to carry a truck with one arm is quite impressive!
It would be nice if the battery in the UI was depleting, acting as a time limit.

Nice game! The conversations were humorous, and having super strength was really empowering.

It was also fun to be able to propsurf, and jump while holding the phone to your feet to levitate.

Good use of the theme!

I had a lot of fun playing this one! Went in blind so I had a lot of fun messing with the physics and reading the story yall laid out. Lmao the GHOST was my favorite character. The airport and the credits music are amazing!

I don't know if it was intended to mess with the physics by putting an object on top of an object and then yeeting the object underneath to launch you and the 2nd object to nowhere but I had a lot of fun with that!

The holding-the-phone-in-a-circle mechanic was kinda lackluster but the story made up for it! I had a lot of laughs going through each level.

Great Job!

This game had the deepest story I've ever seen in a jam.

It's also absolutely stupid.

Absolutely fantastic - what a perfect jam game.

I really dig the silliness of the setting and the disturbing long armed protagonist, the amount of art and content is extremely impressive! I did find it a bit tedious to do the same thing 4 times in a row though, some more variety to the levels would have gone a long way.

Hilarious take on the theme, graphics were very good. Physics got a little goofy if you tried to pull around objects you were standing on.

Had a lot of fun with this one. Some physics issues which meant I was able to sometime launch myself to the moon and trivialise some levels, but overall great idea and fun game

@romfactory Thanks for play! Some of the objects you can even wear as masks/hats if you drag them on your head! The battery is actually part of the itch page banner. There's no battery in game but that's an awesome idea!

@jefvel What's a wacky physics game without a bit of prop surfing xD The phone bug wasn't intended, but a lot of people have been exploiting its use and we don't mind at all. We'll just call it a feature!

@polkoii I'm glad you enjoyed it! The ghost was DEFINITELY based on real ghosts xD
Yeeting stuff by using 2 objects wasn't intended, but it certainly wasn't UNintended if that makes sense haha
The conversation stuff could def use a bit of work (especially for the second level where you can't stay in the area while on the platform), but I'm happy you appreciate our silly humor <3

A really fun and unique take on a physics based game where there is an underlying narrative that actually had some thought put behind it! Great settings each time, and the music was immersive for each unique level. I wish that the chapter selection were numbered, so I knew what to choose first, as you saw on my stream. Felt so bad for the poor grandma! Keep up the great work!

I like the concept! I wish the physics interactions were a bit less sudden and jerky, maybe it would help if you set the pivot point of an item you pick up to where you clicked it, as opposed to always snapping the centre to the player's hand. I didn't have time to play all the levels, but the game looked like it was going places. Great work!
Quite Good

Such a great idea for a game, and a take on unstable that I haven't seen anything close to so far. Had a grand ol' time tossing objects around trying to get that phone in the perfect spot. My only suggestion would be to use a music clip that isn't so short, as it got a little tiring to listen to the same couple seconds of audio over and over. Otherwise, an awesome entry!

Very good take on the theme. I loved the humor and physics mechanics in the game which lead to some interesting scenarios. The only minor issue I had with the game is that the player felt like he was on ice. Besides that, very good submission!

Really cool idea and pretty nice implementation. The game is original and fits the theme really well and has good amount of environment objects and content. Got few exploits and physics seem crazy sometimes, but that probably makes it even more fun

I like the music and the art is nice.
The game is pretty funny.

A tutorial explaining that you can double jump would be nice, but then again I spent several minutes trying to move myself using a fan having not remembered I could move with WASD.

the game is pretty damn fun, funky physics and total realism of course. i couldnt beat the first level, the 2nd one was tricky, the 3rd one was normal and the 4th one was laughably easy. The variety is amazing and the music was also fine. The humor is spot on. And the art was fine

I do have some general criticism over the difficulty of the game. I was extremely frustrated over the second level, and while the first level somewhat made sense it felt like a rather unintuitive introduction to the game.

Getting that out of the way, your entry was a lot of fun! I liked the overarching story and worldbuilding, even if it took some VERY unexpected turns. I think your fourth level is a fantastic demonstration of what the game could be, a more dynamic environment in which getting to the reception point is easy but holding the reception is a constant challenge. The stages in which finding the reception point forms the challenge lack that same kind of satisfaction.

If you were to take this in a postjam direction, I would model all of your stages after that final section, finding fun reasons to distract you from the signal point. Furthermore, you should make the conversations more interactive so as to take the user's attention away from the background elements that will cause a disruption. This would give you a fun gameplay loop where the actual difficulty lies in keeping a long conversation going as opposed to just getting to the conversation point to begin with.

One more thing-- what does a snowman exactly sound like?

Nice game, but too hard for me! Stuff kept not going where I planned, rage-quit at 2nd level
Cakestorm
13. Oct 2021 · 08:31 UTC
I love the physics, it makes for some hilarious situations! There's nothing quite like taking your rage out on a fridge by throwing it about 2 miles in the air. Having to find the sweet spot to get perfect signal was also a great idea, and I can definitely relate to the experience. The signal getting stronger as you got nearer was a nice touch; it kept me from just guessing in the dark, and revealing the signal circle made things way easier to figure out, so thank you for that addition. There was so much variety in objects too, which was great, and every level felt unique and looked really nice! Overall great fun, I love physics-based games - and this is no exception! Well done!
