WORST THEME EVER!

Tips: * When you learn a theme is hated, choose it in later rounds. * Each game has 20 total themes (chosen randomly out of a list of 500 possible themes). * Half of the themes are hated (determined randomly). * Half of the themes shown per round are from the hated list. * The character will always complain about themes he hates. * He will only comment on the them if there's nothing to complain about.

Personal Note: I made this game because I did not like the LD49 theme "Unstable". After making this meme of a game, however, I've come around. Maybe it's Stockholm syndrome. Anyway, Ludum Dare is great, everyone should make games. Don't make games out of spite, or do, that's fine too...apparently.

This game is quite funny, I had a few chuckles.

Are the messages random, or are there any rules behind the "rating" of the chosen themes?

The graphics and animations are pretty nice.

Honestly I felt the same way, I only downvoted like 2 of the themes and "Unstable" was one of them, but oh well here we are

Here's how it works. There is a list of a few hundred words it can choose from. At the start of each game 20 are chosen. 10 of them are hated, 10 are fine. Additionally, each round half of the words are hated and the other half are fine.

Are the words hated or loved randomly as well ? I don't get how the character would not like "freedom" it's so good lol

Yep. Half are loved and half are hated. It's consistent per game though so you can make more informed decisions per round.

This is a game made out of spite and it ended up quite funny! I beat it too! the gameplay is just picking words that you think the author would have thought were terrible themes. I made him become so unstable he exploded! Its really impressively made and the polish is fantastic. The game is fundamentally just clicking menu buttons but then in the background theres really good reaction animations from the developer at her keyboard. I loved the graphics actually they were really smooth and well done. Nice Work!

I love this haha, I also wasn't a fan of "unstable" at first. Great job on making a fun game out of your frustration with the theme itself. I don't know how you managed to come up with a list of 200 random terrible themes without losing your sanity

It's a bit of a weird theme, but you can work with it! Looks like you managed to do a bit of a satire game with it as well.

Best way of relieving salt I've ever seen.

Jokes aside, the idea for this game is really cool, the game is pretty funny even with its simple appearance. Probably coming back to this one eventually lol.
