DestroyItAll by Infernal

[raw]
made by Infernal for LD33 (COMPO)
This is my incomplete version as I may not get a chance to work on this until well after LD 33 is over.

mouse to look
mouse left click to impersonate the monster I was going to implement.

wasd = forwards/back/strafe
space/c for up/down

alt-f4 to exit--- because this is my first foray into Unity!

The way buildings get damaged is really cool

It's simple but it works well.
Good job with this game.

I love how the cityscape is designed, the way buildings crumble is amusingly fun, just makes me want to destroy more :D great job, hope to see it finished one day :P

Would've been a lot better had you finished it, agreed with everybody else, the building destroying mechanic is really cool. Just a few prioritys for next LD Graphics and Audio can sometimes compensate for unpolished mechanics.

Well done, you have movements, collision, animation and what look like particle effects. The city destroying made me think of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQJA5YjvHDU

Looks pretty good; I'm on a slow computer and this game was barely playable, maybe there are too many buildings

Nice effect!
FPS is low on my computer(my computer is not good), but suggest you use occlusion culling or something.

Game ran slowly for me on my laptop, but the destruction of these buildings was cool! The sense of scale is great and it would have felt awesome to be a first-person monster ruining all of this stuff. It's a neat start that's worth developing into more.

Thank you all for trying it out!
When I submitted, I had just finished the city generation code. It was running quite slow as I had separate colliders for each section of each building. I improved it by changing it to one collider per building and that helped a little. I had alot of omptimization still to go.

Reminds me a lot of how the city is destroyed in EDF! Shame you didn't finish.

I think this game has so much potential, I'd love to see what you could do with it.

I destroyed it all! My hand is tired now. I actually didn't have to move much though, since my monster reach seems to be infinite!

Just gotta pile in the sound effects, camera shake, particles and smoke, and you're good to go, haha! :P

Good job for your first Unityventure! Hope to see this developed further!
