Koluan's DINER by Sandra Martinez

Life in the future is hard. Aliens are everywhere and us ordinary humans are exotic now. As Earth opens its arms to embrace the influx of extraterrestrial tourism, alien-exclusive services become more and more prevalent. If you think waiting tables is boring, why not join us at Koluan's DINER, where the sky's the limit. (Yes, in all caps, it's more exotic.)

It was literal, the "sky is the limit" thing. A waiter at Koluan's DINER is expected to ride a unicycle on a tight rope to serve food twice the size of their head to aliens comfortably situated on top of mountain-high pillars. As if being a waiter isn't precarious enough...

Well, you have gotten used to it, the balance, the height, the big appetite of weird-looking creatures. Still, anything would beat the guilt of wasting tons of food falling on God-knows-whose head. "One day", you thought to yourself, "I would leave this hellish place and get a more stable job." But hey, there are still mouths to feed, and that unicycle isn't going to ride itself...

In Koluan's DINER, you can: - Be the only waiter at a restaurant on top of the world. - Keep track of up to 6 different tables at the same time. - Put a moderately-sized tray to hold all your food on your hand, all the time. - Meet funny aliens. - Drop food on top of people. It's not like anyone cares. - Keep working forever, or get fired.

How-to-play: - Control with "A", "D" key and your mouse. - Position yourself nicely at the diner's stall. - Wait for customers to arrive, as indicated by the UI on your right. - Once an order is placed, clicked on the corresponding button with your mouse to make the food. - Drag the on your tray and press the big orange "GO!" button. - Race to the table with their order before the time runs out. - The layout of the tables is: 5-3-1-MainStall-2-4-6. - Meet the level's customer served target to advance to the next level, or you're fired.

The art, music, and sound on this game were really well done, and the gameplay was simple and easy to understand. Next time though, try using less text to convey how to play the game, (I've had enough English homework lol). Great job this jam, and good luck!

I think the tables should be arranged as 1-2-3-MainStall-4-5-6 for the sake of the player. I love the artwork, and the colors for background are seriously top notch. Excellent work all around! (and the spongebob music is pretty funny)

Really nice look and feel to this game. I will admit that it took me a few attempts to figure out exactly what to do, but once I got it I had fun. I think there can be a way to streamline the mechanics so you don't have to click GO. I found that part a bit odd. Also, there was quite a bit of downtime while waiting for the orders to populate or finish at the end where I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing. I think there's some balancing that could happen there. Overall, I was impressed! Nice work.

the music reminds me of spongebob lol, simple gameplay that's really fun, I like the artstyle and the characters, the game does need a little balancing but is really fun regardless, overall I really enjoyed this!

Very nice looking game. I would have liked it if the tables were individually numbered but thats not a major issue. Enjoyed the game overall
