Super cool game. Love the aesthetic. I feel like I am very bad at it :D and would love to see some pro play it.

This was great fun!
It looks great, it sounds great, it plays great.
And most importantly: The difficulty curve works!

It's a constant challenge, but always seems manageable.

Well done!

Wave 17 is as far as I could go!

I'm blown away by how good a game you two created in just 72 hours. Game mechanics are well executed and fit the theme beautifully. The visuals are great and there's tons of polish. A huge amount of content with all the different enemy types and power ups. This feels like a game that was created in a much longer amount of time. It's obvious you both put a lot of effort into this game. Outstanding job!

Heck of a game! The visuals are astounding and it's very well-executed, blends smoothly into the soundtrack.

My one complaint? Kept dying because I couldn't see what was happening when the screen bloomed in later levels! But you know, if I wasn't enjoying the game so much, I wouldn't have become so annoyed. Great entry!

My first reaction was: no, not another one of those balance games. But what you did with the concept is brilliant. The visuals and music are great too. I felt maybe the controls are too sensitive, but I guess it's needed to get the momentum going. Nice one, loved it!

Love this bloom so much!
And the gameplay is also very interesting~ If I can use the LR button of the Gamepad, it may be more fun

You would think this would feel really awkward to play, but it's actually really intuitive and fun, awesome

Amazing game, nice use of the theme. The upgrade system was a really nice touch to not make the game repetitive. I think it would be a really nice mobile game to play casually. Just one thing : the sound of the explosion was a bit annoying on the long run.

Nice game, really well polished. Good job with visual effects - the UI animation highlighting selected upgrade was really appealing. The font you used for upgrade descriptions was very hard to read though.

Oh, and the lightning upgrade is really op, because it affects the area even if you don't fire it - but I think it's good, was a fun time cheesing all the orange stars with it :D

I enjoyed a lot playing it, first I thought it was one of those equilibrium games but I loved shooting squares swinging the bar and sweet light effects and use of shaders ;)

This kept me entertained way longer than I would have expected when looking at the screenshots. Really well made and all the animations are great. My favorite are the moving borders around upgrades. And your difficulty/upgrade curve feels perfect, all the upgrades looked enticing so it was sometimes tough to choose, which I think is a good sign! Nice job.

Very cool idea and the gameplay was fun! Great music choice as well. The glow effects fit perfectly with the game and if you combine that with the sounds the game feels like something out of Tron. Nice upgrade system, too.

Wow, this game should have been impossible to control, but I had no trouble hitting the enemies? Did you have some kind of aim assist system? You must have had one and it worked great! A fun entry, thanks for the web build!

@joonamo Actually no aim assist! You just figured out how to aim it with your own gamer skill :)

I have no idea how you came up with this idea, but it was sick! Flinging the projectiles just right to hit the incoming block was pretty satisfying when you succeeded. The overall visual polish and synthwave backing track put me in just the right headspace to enjoy this. And being able to upgrade different skills really kept it from getting boring!

Where did the music track come from? Loved it!

@Hawkin I had 2 friends make separate tracks for the game! One's soundcloud is here: https://soundcloud.com/user-720064223, and the other one hasn't set up their music streaming yet.

Wow that may be the entry with the highest replayability. Loved the different upgrade routes to take.

The visuals and sounds are great at first but become a bit of a clusterfuck towards the later levels. I think i actually managed to beat the game as there werent any new levels after i think 28 or so. My final 'winning' strat was the lightning with super high damage and radius:

All in all it was really great and the gameplay unique. Great job and good luck with the ratings - maybe you contest for the first places!

@willoxs Yup you beat the game! Wave 26 is the final insane wave (depicted in the last picture) and it loops. It's supposed to be extremely difficult unless you have a super synergistic build, and it seems you created a really nice synergistic lightning build based on how turquoise you are... congrats on being one of the first people to beat Seesaw King :)

Really great game to come out of 4 days. Only thing that I can see is if you have a lot of lightning cubes (as I did) spawned at once the games audio becomes very loud. Also later in the game the glow effects make it impossible to see what is on your board (though I was running very small cubes, so that might be me) Overall, though, amazing job, one of the best games I've played in this jam, and kept me entertained longer that I will admit.
