Provide a long life for your negligent son with... a sniper rifle, obviously! He is growing fast. And he loves bad things. You should knock them out of his hands with a sniper rifle from cover in front of his house. Get it done before he uses these things. Otherwise, his health will rapidly deteriorate and he will live less. This сareless guy carries only harmful things. Who knows how it will all end if your son lives to old age?

Other then that, the main issue with the game is that it's repetitive. At some point I just ended up actively trying to shoot the son instead of the bad things. I think it could be improved with a side objective like an easter egg hunt or some extra targets.
But seriously, your idea is great
I would say that voxel furniture and pixel fireplace add to inconsistency, don't you think?
I really like the theme implamentation in your game. But yeah I agree with upper comments in a point of repetative. So I think if you add some extra tasks like choices (shoot it or shoot smth other), or maybe main character should sometimes look in other windows so it would be more interesting.
But still great job!
There's definitively a great potential with this idea!
I wonder if there is a different ending, cause I shot every birthday cake by instinct  love the candles spell "LD" for the 50y/o cake, cool easter egg. It was too repetitive and time-consuming for me to play another run without shooting any cakes though, but I gotta say this game is very unique and a lot of the interactions are smooth and satisfying.
It does really need a difficulty ramp, with the son going faster for example or consuming smaller objects. Also the health is confusing -- it stays on "excellent" after your first slip-up and is "average" right until the son dies, just putting X/7 would be less confusing.
