Very nice game. Graphics were good and the music was very fitting with the game, the voice over was also a nice bonus.

Chill game, amazing graphics and runs surprisingly smoothly for how intense it should be, esp for a 3d web game. Amazing animations and models, you guys knocked them out of the park, the only thing I can suggest is to make smaller levels to introduce concepts and ideas without overwhelming players with a massive garden from the get go, otherwise its pretty fun and relaxing!

Nice work! It had some fun and really smooth gameplay! While the watering can/spray felt a little less pleasant to use, I was having a lot of fun throwing water balloons around, and the plants wheezing 'water' was a delightful addition. The models and artstyle were also really well polished, and the animations also worked well with it. I loved the harvest moon style energy! An absolutely wonderful job~! ◊

I really enjoyed this game! Great work on the art, the music was nice and calming. I ran into an issue sometimes where I wouldn't be able to use my watering can (F) despite having water in it, not sure what caused it but it solved itself out after a while.

Fun game. Sometimes I forget to check the map and leave a plant to die. Played a few times, enjoyed.

@pinky-toast Thanks for feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the game.

Do you know which plant you had that issue with?

The rule isn't communicated the best, but the Carnivorous Plants are not allowed to be watered with the Watering Can, for example.

A charming experience, almost a shame the theme made it to be so quick and overwhelming.

The controls are very good and i really like the aesthetic. There is a lot of work put into this game and I give you all a virtual pat on the back! The models and animations are very well done! I like the gameplay loop. Although during the upgrade screen, I would like to know the effects of the tools I get to choose from. Eg. getting a "water ballon", doesn't really tell me the gameplay implications until I pick it. But that's only a nitpick, great game! And here's a hot tip for y'all: Get the water gun, go to the fountain and spam E to refill and right click to water plants directly from the fountain!

@tosmaster Thank you so much for the feedback. You're right, we should give more information about the new tools and powers to the player.

Love the music and the voice lines at the beginning!

At my first attempt I didn't quite understand the goal. Especially the box with the expiring progress bar in the upper left was really confusing at first, because it seemed like it showed my task and if the progress bar reaches zero, I'll lose. While in reality it was more a... progress until the next level? That could have been more clear.
Also, holding E to refill the bottle would have been very helpful (and also more accessible, my hand literally hurts from spamming the key to refill fast enough).

The balancing could be a bit better too, the game felt overwhelming very quickly. But balancing is a very difficult thing especially in a game jam, so it's understandable.

Overall, really cool game, there were some nice ideas (with all the different plant types that have their own "abilities"), and again, the music was cute, reminded me a bit of Stardew Valley. :)

This is really impressive for only 72 hours! The graphics were great and I loved the audio. I do wish it was clearer where the hitboxes for the plants are, since several times I wasted water on what I thought was the plant without the water level increasing. Really great job overall, though!

Cute and vast! Gives you a thinking of making a bigger squad. Was fun and had a good time researching and spitting on the plants). May consider developing this further. Great one, thanks!

I really love the story and introduction! Art, music, and fonts are also spot on. At first I wasn't sure if I needed to aim at the flowers directly to water them and I spent a lot of time adjusting my position (which led to a quicker death of the poor flowers). It would be cool if there was visual indication of the watering target.

Thank you for sharing your game on my Twitch stream (MsMiaChar). Here's the link if you're interested in checking it out again (game starts around 00:47:00): https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1446760516

A game about trying to keep your plants alive and inevitably failing, I wan relate!

I like the voice and the music - the parched "WA-TER" voice was the best. I really like how the whole things felt well put together, really has a professional casual game vibe. Being able the choose upgrades was unexpected and great.

I love the humor! Ah yes, and this is madam's fire tree. it lights other trees on fire. Most beautiful tree in the garden, yes? The upgrades are nice, and it's pretty satisfying upgrading your gear as the garden grows. The character is adorable, and I just love the art work. Any 3D models during a weekend long Jam is impressive, but these simply look great. Wonderful work.

Wow, super polished game for a jam!

Things I liked:

- It fit the theme perfectly. I knew it was just a matter of time before a plant died but I never knew when it would happen. Great idea to only be able to see a few plants at a time and have to constantly run around. Made things really hectic!
- The art and music were both outstanding, far beyond what I expect from a jam. They both gave the game a bright and cheery theme.
- I like that you added in multiple ways to water plants and a bunch of extra upgrades. This makes the game feel a lot deeper and I'm just really impressed by the amount of content you squeezed in while keeping it polished

Things that I think could be improved:

- I didn't like that you have to click rapidly to fill water but then hold the mouse button to water plants. I think you could choose one or the other and stick with it (I like hold mouse button to fill and to water)
- I was never really sure exactly where my balloon would land. It would be nice to have that be a little clearer
Having multiple fountains spread out would be a cool addition. Or to be able to place your own mini fountains instead of always running back to the middle would be cool too

Overall, I'm super impressed with this game. crazy level of polish for a three day jam!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the music/audio, I had a lot of fun composing for it and I was heavily inspired by games like Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, old-school RPGs (town/village/world map music) and of course 'The Great British Baking Show' ;)

The 'WAAATER', 'happy plant sigh', and 'gasping for air' SFX are actually recordings of my wife Marija, and they were all completely improvised/unrehearsed. I basically just hit the record button and told her to close her eyes and 'pretend to be a thirsty plant' lol. We're so happy they made it into the game and brought some smiles, and she is also stoked to have her first official video game credit/cameo!

Also, I just released the Original Soundtrack (along with a bunch of other game OSTs, remixes etc) for anyone who's interested =)

Man, people are getting really good at 3D art. Amazing presentation, this genuinely looks like a studio made 3DS game or something. And the gameplaye genuinely had me hooked for a bit. Cute music too, overall I enjoyed this quite a lot!

This was a very pleasant game! Great job to the whole team for making it! All of the models and animations were very excellent. And the progression system was very well done!

My only complaint is that the tool filling was not press and hold like watering was. It was not very fun to press "E" over and over again :)

Also, excellent job on the introduction! Too funny! I love a good voice over :)

Damn that was an impressive first impression :O The music, the art, the birds, it really feels like a PS2 game. I'll add it to my bookmark. Does it supports Controllers? It would be cool to play with a dualshock (add some vibration when dropping water and I die). GG

This was quite fun, loved the music  Liked the upgrades & progression, wasn't too fast or slow, the balloon was a great help  Though, for filling water a hold key could be set, like for watering & the brown UI text in options wasn't very visible, but that's just a little detail. Overall, really great job!

Really fun game with lots of upgrades and choices available to play the game differently each time. I liked the balloon most and wish I could simply auto refill the other two tools I had. I ended up pressing E & left click trying to refill faster. I think besides that the gameplay was flawless. The art style was so great and the plants looks really good. This game is pretty much complete and its incredible to see that this game out of 3 days of work, super impressed with what your team has done in such a short time.

Nice game with very pleasant graphics and audio! Good progression with a slow ramp-up to get used to the game mechanics. Fun voice acting as well (especially the dry waaateeeer, I can really sympathize with that plant :D). The upgrades felt meaningful but not overpowered as well, all in all a very well rounded entry!
