Planet Panic, game for Ludum Dare 50

Game Optimised for controller.

On your planet, you are a group of robots living in harmony but a threat hangs over it since another civilization wants to storm your planet. You are the last bastion that will protect the future of your civilization. Repel drills and fire for as long as possible with the weapons you may have found on your planet, in order to give your comrades time to flee.

Make sure you destroy as many drills and put out as many fires as possible so that the planet can last longer and as many citizens as possible can escape from the planet.

The goal is that as many citizens as possible can flee the planet, so that the planet lasts as long as possible.

Once I found out, I could catapult myself into the air via the ramps I rather flied around the world. Easy and simple concept. Really appreciate the controls image.

The Sfx were really really quiet and hard to hear.

Movement is fun and nice. I really like the planet gravity implementation - and like the user above I found the ramps really fun.

I played on keyboard and I don't think I was able to kill the drills with the arrow keys.

I think the arrow keys on keyboard are broken? But I was able to play with the controller and have a better time.

Overall a really fun game, really enjoyed it.

Really enjoyed the controls, especially the ability to fly off ramps! That was a really cool touch.

I enjoyed this one. It gets pretty hectic very quickly, and I didn't immediately realize that the orange cubes were fire, but caught on quickly enough after a moment.

Wished there was more drills and less fire, the fire wasn't as fun to put out as having to do the quick button prompts for the drills, that part I really enjoyed.

I didn't notice any sound FX, that would have added quite a lot, though someone mentioned they were there and were just quiet.

Good job overall!
