Trash Panic! by Defrag
Convenient WebGL link: https://jclayton128.itch.io/ld50
Frantically sort color-coded trash at a garbage facility as the rubbish slowly but steadily builds up. This is a 5-10 minute experience featuring frantic action, color theory, custom sounds, bespoke art, and authentic digital trash.

Use ASDF to open and close the different trash-sorting bins, and SPACE to run the compactor at the bottom. Trash bins automatically process trash once they are filled up.

Bins process faster or slower depending on how similar in color the bin's trash is. For example, an bin filled with just blue and cyan will go faster than one filled with all 6 colors equally. A simple color wheel is stuck on the wall to help remember color relationships.

Reset game, toggle tutorial mode, and toggle sound are all available at the bottom-right.

(+)nice art
(-)uncomfortable control
A little bit hard to control. And the SFX just made me more confused
The physics system sometimes stuck my trash between conveyor belts, but that's fine.
Nice work!
I did manage to break it. Would probably need some sort of stall check to make sure things are actually moving and if things get stuck have a sort of "earth quake" to shake things loose.

Really enjoyed this one.
The game seemed to freeze up when I lost
I just got into the flow. First not even knowing what I was doing. Fun.
Cool idea!
Little problem I had, at one point S did not open at all.
Graphics very 80s style, and sound very personal style: nice.
I will remember this game, while other jam games I forget.

Pros:
- Simple and enjoyful gameplay
- Cool graphics
- Sounds... umm... yeah :D
- Multiple points of context to understand
- Chaotic controls, in a good way
Cons:
- S button was broken for me
- Easy to get your stuff stuck for insta points
- Not sure I understood the color mechanic
Good job! :D
@sketchygalore I waffled on the direction I wanted to go for a while, but I'm glad that landed on what I did. Physics-based systems are an easier choice for jams because the movement can be fun in and of itself, which is what I was trying to channel. Thanks for playing.
