Sands of Time

play as a little hour glass who's time is constantly running out. If the Time hits 0 it's game over and you restart at the beginning.

Destroying enemies allows you to steal their time and add to your own

You can teleport forward in time to gain ground and to travel through walls (this costs time) You can also rewind time to a snapshot taken every 3 seconds to remedy mistakes.

Just finished the game, level design is a bit confusing. But concept and application of theme is really good!

The art is really neat and its a cool take on literally delaying time to keep playing, the platforming is really tight and a bit hard to progress but other than that its a great proof of concept with great art design

Really unique concept! I like how there's so many different ways to traverse the levels, and the art is really well done, nice work!

Amazing art and gameplay! Loved it! Jumping and the control mechanics are a bit hard to grasp to start, but nothing too bad. I also learned you could sorta cheese the respawn points to kill the clocks, get the spawn point then die again to keep gaining time cause the clocks kept respawning. Overall though, this game had me hooked! I really enjoy this concept of time management and attempted to use a similar mechanic myself

The Time aspect goes awesome with the theme
an the way you show how much time you lose made the game feel great.

I love the theme. My favorite were the clocks that blow up and steal time from you. Fantastic!

Love the teleport and rewind time feature! Would be cool to have a up teleport and a downwards teleport in the future.

I had a lot of fun with this one.

The idea behind it of having your time left scarified when using your abilities is a really good one, since it requires the player to do a balancing art. The art looks quite nice, and the music is pleasant.

The controls did feel a little finicky, and I found that attacking the flying clocks for extra time simply wasn't worth it since it'd result in more time lost than gained. Beyond that, I enjoyed this. It would be nice to see the concept expanded.

Nice calming little game to play after frantically finishing our own. :)

It's a little bit glitchy, but still fun. Nice take on the theme.

Great game! Made the first half way harder on myself because I forgot double jumping was a thing! Once I got used to warping forward, attacking, and double jumping, the game was super fun to play! Never did use the warp back mechanic, but oh well! Really, really cool idea, and good implementation!

Its a fun game! Its like having the power to do instant save scumming. Speedruns of this would be really fun to watch with how fast you can go.

Great art and nice mechanics, I just wish you could have improved a little more on the rewind and teleport.

Good job overall!

Absolutely LOVE the graphics! Unfortunately, I made a bad decision and ran into a checkpoint some seconds before blowing up, so I more or less got blocked in that area. Also, I find it a bit confusing that you need to use the mouse to attack while everything else is keyboard-based, but maybe that's just me

It's a pretty cool game, took a while to get how to effectively use back and forwards warp, but it's great mechanic. Level wasn't too short or long felt like a nice demo. Good graphics and sounds, well done.

The hourglass running out as a character idea is really clever and definitely on-point. To me, the extra mechanics were honey on top of that delicious conceit. Nice job!
