Disclaimer:

We released a couple of bug fixes the morning after submission, some issues that only came up after play-testing in the final build on different devices. We hope you can understand, we wanted to fix these bugs which might give people a rough/unplayable experience with the game; it was important to us to give players a smooth experience so they could enjoy it, and so we would get feedback on the things that really matter to us instead of already known bugs :) - Add sensitivity adjustment to accommodate differences between computers. - Fix UI anchoring and scaling on different resolution displays. - Fix bottle mechanic not working (it was already implemented, but the status variable was reset at the wrong time) - The commit log on GitHub for your verification

I really liked how the 2D sprites looked in the 3D world. Especially the boombox.

This was an AWESOME game - I liked how it seemed surmountable in the beginning and then the mechanics began following the narrative and you had to take gum to survive haha

This was great! The 2D on 3D artstyle worked super well, the dialogue and story was funny and to the point, nice interpretation of the theme.

I really enjoyed your game. It has quite funny gameplay and graphics. The voice acting of the characters is also very funny. Good job.

5/10 would fail my daily quota again, fun game, very fast and hectic but gets more and more difficult as time goes on, until you wake up one day and you're actually working for a certain company that everyone relies on.

I loved the characters and the slow replacement of each of them, and yet I still didn't see the ending coming, lol

This game was an experience. It's not something you'd play multiple times, but I loved every aspect of it my first time through. The visual style suits the game really well; its derpiness complements the game's humor while the exaggerated facial expressions complement the game's underlying dark theme. The music adds to the mood everywhere as well. Great job on this one!

Easily my favourite game from the jam so far. The tone, humour and narrative are spot on. Well done to your team!

Very well polished game. The voices were lovely. I kept talking to Bob over and over to hear him repeat himself. Too bad he turned into a robot.

Interesting! My colleagues start to become robot and cannot say human words like yesterday, and eventually it's also my inevitable fate...

This world you created manages to feel goofy yet very authentic. I love that it does not matter how good you are at this game, there will be a point where you will not meet quota and ultimately be replaced. Amazing work. Thank you for this game!

Looked really good, controlled great (once I'd turned the mouse sensitivity down) and, I think, probably got across exactly the message you were trying to get across.

I'm a big fan of the billboarding style of 3D games. I feel like there was maybe something a little off with the camera FOV that made the billboarding a little *too* noticeable in this game, but given the exaggerated style you were going for, I wouldn't say it really detracts from the experience at all.

Oh yeah, and Bob's voice actor deserves a promotion! :stuck_out_tongue:

Great work!

Damn. This. Fuck. Very cool!
The theme is conveyed just perfectly! A wonderful look at the topic! These 2d ugly faces are awesome too! God! A storm of emotions!

I take my hat off to the team that created this game! Thank you very much!

Really nicely put together with responsive controls on this and very clear instructions in the UI. I liked that you had to just go to the toilet without any privacy/phil watching.

Great oppressive atmosphere and cool humor. I loved how, despite the objectives being pretty much hard/impossible to reach, you managed to add touches of complexity here and there to the gameplay... And that final twist!

Strengths:
- Surprisingly addictive narrative
- Gameplay is immediate and offers possibilities
- Very cool graphics and sound. The manager design is especially memorable.

Possible improvements:
- I guess the point of the game is to fail inevitably, but sometimes I wanted to try stuff (peeing, using more caffeine) but just had no time for it.

Great job!

Good theme, interesting characters (David Firth vibes), and quite a nice atmosphere in general. I appreciate skill-based games where I'm up against the clock and I really like that you had time to add in things like the caffeine machine.

A great idea with lots of room to do interesting things. I like its use of contradiction. It's wonderfully weird but very grounded in reality and social context. I'd love an arc where they try to unionize, or they get a cdl and do sick donuts in the yard. Or like in real amazon thing shut down and boxes start flying everywhere creating piles of low visibility. Great job

Incredibly creepy and fun to play. Reminded me a lot of Blendo Games, which I love. It also reminded me of a friend's game Bucket Detective - so much so that I just had to re-look at the names to make sure I didn't miss that he worked on this. Haha. Really fun stuff. Fit the theme well and was really innovative. Thanks again for playing and rating The Apocawiz. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Congrats on finishing!

Solid job on the humor! I love how all my coworkers got replaced by robots, even the SUPERVISOR? funny stuff. The cutscene at the end was pretty great too! I love the "motivational" posters. ha! Great work all around.

I think it is perfect. I do not have anything constructive to add unfortunately. I enjoyed the underlying commentary. It almost has a twilight zone -esk feel to the story in a good way.

Awesome game! I really like the art style and the whole consept of it, I couldn't meet my quota in the first two rounds and blamed it on me being slow and confused but then all the next quota seemed impossible, and the pee-your-pants thingy lol (how can someone pee that much). The ending where you get put in a box yourself is a fun addition too, well done guys!

A cautionary tale of robot employment. This game was really fun, even though it did get too difficult already at level two. I mean, that's probably the point of the game, but maybe the ramp up could have been slightly slower. Really nice game!

Great entry! I really liked the opressive mood. The style really stuck with me, it's kind of comedic as well as depressing all at once. Great sense of humor in the game - none of that decaf shit!

This game makes perfect use of the theme.
The art is charming, and the gameplay is simple but fun.

The sound effects when talking to an NPC really helped to make each one unique.

I need to speak to whoever is in charge of the warehouse layout, they did a terrible job.

Fun game!

Graphics were cute. Really enjoyed the spatial audio. Dialogue for the characters made me chuckle a bit, and I enjoyed that they each had their own "voice".

Very nice... Only constructive feedback I have is the font is nice, but is a bit hard to read for dialog. Everything else is great, I love the ending. Beep boop.
