Fun game! I liked the graphics, although the player could've used a little bit of animation

I think you hit the theme on the head with this one! I really had a lot of fun with the game. The artwork is great, the soundtrack fits it perfectly. Well done!

I was confused on why you needed a jump button. Then I got stuck between two platforms lol. The art style is good, and everything fits well. I kinda wish that the score board could be seen while playing the game but either way well done.

Well done! It plays cool! Way new feelings and way to make on the old mechanic. It looks ready - what is rare here! art and sounds go together with effects so as gameplay, it's really addictive/. I miss playing such small different arcade games and wondering to have em on a switch or ps5// we have to push sony and nint to make kind of 500 in 1 edition on nextgen ;)

Plays smoothly, I love the simplistic graphics and the sfxr sound. Agreeing to other commenters, it feels concise, perhaps because the scope was so minimal (well done). How long did it take you?
I scored 297 on my second run.

Your game is simplistic. This does not make it any less fun.

@pcmaster Thanks for the feedback! This was my first game jam so I decided to keep the scope very limited. It probably took me around 10-15 hours.

Very well done! You must absolutely keep doing jams (and games), cheers :)

I liked the graphics and sounds!
I found it a bit hard to understand if a gap is passable or not. Also jumping could be a bit more interactive with pressing length (The longer you press space, the higher you jump). So it would be easier to keep going with shorter obstacles.

I liked it overall though! My highscore is 255 so far

Simple idea with clean and dynamic implementation. I would say, that the level generation could be slightly improved. Well done!

Fits the theme, works, is replayable, cool music and sfx, simple mechanics. Perfect game for the first time you participate in a jam. Good job!

Cool idea. Love the simple graphics. Would be cool to see a version with power ups or something.

I really liked it! The music goes very well along. I wish there was a leaderboard.

I feel the movement is a bit floaty when you are on a platform. Otherwise great black and white graphics

Nice job on finding a fun game in a small scope and executing it well! The game looks good, and you found fitting music and sounds. My only suggestion would be to put some kind of indicator on how far ahead of the death ball you are. And a live score counter would also be nice!

Nice simple game. There are some situations where you cant move because of the platforms. Good job!
