Hag's Hug by Spaghetti

https://spaghettino.itch.io/hagshug
You're the cat of an old hag who is trying to concoct a potion. The recipe, however, seems to involve you too.
Flee as fast as you can, break objects to distract her, and try your best to delay the inevitable: being caught!
She won't stop. She needs YOU!

But why doesn't the cat have seven lives?! :D
When I first started the game, the jump button didn't work and I couldn't jump. But it worked after a site refresh. I couldn't reproduce it after that. So no idea what happened.
Good job with the game!
@brachistosauro fino all'ultimo abbiamo pensato di farla in presenza a Torino, sarà per la prossima volta!
@stefan-funke that's the worst bug we found after release. WE can't reproduce it, tried many ways. Bad thing to discover a couple hours before the deadline.
@misterunshaved the hag already hugged the cat 4 times :P
everyone, thank you so much for playing, it means a lot to us
IMO having to press a key for breaking stuff was unecessary, just doing it automatically would have made the game fluidier.
Also at some point I wasn't able to jump anymore, I don't know why (bug?). I restarted the game and it fixed the problem.
Also I really enjoyed your "lives" mechanic, instead of the classic fade-to-dark and reboot your way is awesome. Plus it's a much better fit to the ending. Great job !
I don't usually like when there's a "live system" but it seems that it really works in this kind of game!
I'd say maybe there should be better indications that breaking items does distract. Maybe it does in the code, but it doesn't look like it visually.
