Host is a turn based virus spreading game. Instructions in game. Left click controls everything. Esc to exit.
The goal of Host is, as a virus, to infect everyone in a stage. Each time someone new is infected, the previous host is killed and that new host is controlled by you. Clear the room to complete the level. If you cause suspicion to anyone else in the room they will shoot your host body in defense, killing the virus.
Sorry about the lack of sound, like I'm sure was true for most people, I wasn't able to dedicate this whole weekend.
There is definitely a lot more I wanted to do with this, besides aesthetic things like giving different levels distinct themes. I'm really sad I didn't get the execute the puzzle element as well as I wanted to. There were a few other features to gameplay I wanted to add or tweek, but for what I have I think it's alright.

@Anaglyph, that is odd, the only time you shouldn't be able to move is if the room is locked or the player hasn't started yet or is dead. Are there steps that can recreate this?
Anyway, a good game with an interesting (and pretty original) concept.
An easier level or two just to start the player off and ease into the mechanics would be a good addition post compo. Right now it kinda feels like you're thrown right into the deep end, and it took me quite a few goes to figure everything out, even with the instructions.
The random names are a nice touch. I got Kevin Bacon one time. :)

As Yatedog said, you hit an excellent medium between difficult and fair. The only knock against the game in it's current state that I think would be valid is the fact that it was REALLY fun trying to figure out the first two levels but there wasn't enough variety in gameplay to hold me after that.
