It is very short, but you have improved your formula in a lot of aspects. It feels like a Demo of a complete game, and I want this game :dvd: :dvd: :dvd:

Incredible art and totally dig the adventure game vibes!
Story was short and sweet, and some good jokes too - especially with the great voiceovers.
This game hit me right in the nostalgias and it ended too soon.

Menu pulled me in right away with the art and music, then once in the game the pixel art floaty spaceman and alien ship vibes and the helmet radio band-pass voiceover did a great job at immersing me in the world. Not much gameplay yet, sure, but I was suprisingly invested in spite of that. Oh, and the Windows build worked for me on Linux using Wine, just so you know. Well done

Beautifully put together, amazing job! The game's immediately cohesive, interactive and immersive. Love the digitalisation on the voices and the storyline and script. The graphics and banter are fab and the pulse movements work really well with the character movement.

Couple of things you could adjust
The sub bass could be reduced on the main screen
The breaths which only happen once paused (which I love as a feature) could reduce a little too

Great work !

Really a fantastic entry, hard to believe you managed to pull this together over 48 hours. Art work is actually blowing me away! Great work :)

I really liked this. Everything gave me feeling that i'm really in space on this ship (although the main character pissed me off a little with his commercialism).

It looks like a demo for full game, as someone already mentioned. Graphics, storytelling and audio are decent. I also loved voice acting.

In terms of jam theme it doesn't fit really well though, as delaying the inevitable only mentioned in end.

Echoing the other comments here, the art is beautiful and the environments are immersive, especially with the voices. The interface feels more responsive than many full fledged point and clicks.

One very minor thing I ran into in the first scene - as I was clicking through the transmitter frequencies, a piece of dialog appeared but because I was incessantly clicking I accidentally dismissed the dialog.

Nothing to add; carefully and beautifully crafted, immersive, but it is very short.

This has to be one of the moodiest games I've ever played in LD. Really gives off classic point&click vibes. Nice twist with the theme too, took a little while to happen but it was worth it. Definitely a great entry

Short but polished game. For the alien thing I thought I need to change frequency to 9 but I reached 20 when I decreasing the number and then it unlocked lol. The art is super great, the main menu is so beautiful. Nice job.

Very cool! Nailed the atmosphere, visual style, audio. Felt very much like an interactive visual novel, and a ton clearly went into the polish. The only big thing I could ding it for is that aside from a comment in the awesome voice acted dialogue, it really didn't relate to the main theme of the contest. But aside from that, still one of the most compelling entries I've seen so far!

Gorgeous game. Visually stunning. I really like the interactive novel aspect of it.

Visuals and audio were both outstanding, I liked the guess the frequency puzzle element as well would probably play a full point and click game with this as the puzzle system if it had this level of production quality.

Very short but cool, polished, and moody game! I really loved the pixel art, and having voice acting was fantastic. I was very confused at the first scene though because of how the transmitter icon didn't show up until you hovered around that area, so I had no idea what to do. But other than that, great game!

Just gorgeous. The art is stunning and it is very rare to see voice acting of this quality in jam games.

Short but still amazing. I think there would be potential for this game if you kept developing it after the jam!

Beautiful graphics and voice acting. I included it in my Ludum Dare compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/hRXrVepHVBk

The graphics were spectacular, and the game was very enjoyable. The amount of effort spent on every detail really shows. Amazing work!

This kinda reminded me about about 'The Dig' - an old point and click sci-fi/horror game.
Graphics were amazing- As other have said, this felt like a demo for something bigger. Although it was short (And the theme was kinda forced in there a bit), it felt like a bigger world, than just the few scenes we saw. Voice acting was good as well.
I would undoubtly buy this game if you ever made it into a fully fledged one- And if you can get this far in just a weekend, you could have quite the game on your hands within a year or two :-)
One of the better submissions I've seen so far, for sure.

Thanks for sharing your game - I truly enjoyed it :-)

this has a "Gods will be watching" vibe to it. I love that game so much.
amazing how you managed to have voice over in a jam game.

the subtle animation in the standing position of the characters is smooth

Production was fanastic on this. I'm not totally sold on the actual tuning mechanic though.

Short but neat, I agree with oillen - it feels like an intro demo for a longer game and it would be interesting to see more! Your graphics are really good with great pixel art and colours, making for a great experience. And the voice acting and radio filter is really on point, further enhancing the mood and the experience.

I hope you continue working on it or make something similar, would make for a great point 'n click!

I am impressed with this game! The voice acting, the music, the sounds are incredible. The pixel art and the style are perfectly done, I love the character design and the color palette. I don't think there is anything that they have to improve xD, what a great job (I can see that Iluvatar is with you and gave them their light to make this game jaja)!!!! Congratulations!!

Wow. Amazing pixel art! Too bad the experience is a little on the shorter side, but the atmosphere was really nice, and you did a really good job of setting up the lore of this game!

A short but atmospheric space-adventure.

Writing and recording all the dialogue must have been a lot of work!

Like @mekuri, some aspects reminded me of The Dig as well.

---

The graphics were otherwise great, but I think the character's faces and helmets would benefit from a little variety in their form. To me it looks as if it's the same head all the time, but the haircuts are swapping about.

I also think the frequency-gadget would be more fun if it included something else besides just scrolling the numbers. But you can only do so much in 72 hours!

---

Keep on jamming, and long live AGS!

Really too short, but this is probably due to the amazingly polish you've done here! As a big p'n'c fan, I would certainly play a longest version of this game! Really good job and well done!
