Final Forest
Introduction
Welcome to Final Forest! 🐿️ A Real-Time Strategy game about defending the final forest from invading lumberjacks. You must protect your central Great Oak Tree from being destroyed, if it is, you lose. You must hire squirrels who will collect nuts from trees. The invaders slowly cut down trees which you don't defend, harming your source of nuts. Use your nuts to buy more squirrels, wolves, or bears who can defend your forest. Click on enemies to send animals to attack them; or send your squirrels into trees to act as turrets shooting enemies. Delay the inevitable of the final forest's final stand against deforestation.

How To Play
Buying Squirrels and Collecting Nuts 🥜!
The game works off a nut-based economy. The nut count is displayed at the top right of the screen. Nuts are used to buy squirrels, wolves and bears. To buy animals, click on the Great Oak tree in the middle of the forest. An Animal Menu should appear on the left of the screen. Clicking on the different animal buttons will buy and spawn these animals. When squirrels spawn they automatically start collecting nuts from trees and bringing them back to the Great Oak tree. Wolves and bears will patrol the Great Oak tree. Note they won't start attacking enemies unless you tell them to.
Sending animals to attack the invaders!
To target specific enemies, click on them and an Enemy Menu should appear. From there, there are three buttons to send each type of animal to attack them (yes, including your squirrels). If your attacking animal defeats the enemy, and there are others nearby, it will try to attack them too.
Sending your squirrels into trees to shoot at enemies
Click on a tree. A Turret Menu should appear on the left on the screen. Here there are buttons to assign or unassign squirrels from the tree. When a squirrel is assigned to a tree it will walk over to the tree, get in, and start shooting nuts at nearby enemies. You can assign multiple squirrels to a tree and this will increase the fire rate of the squirrel tree turret.
Have Fun Playing!

I liked the game loop and it was easy to figure out what to do. It was fun to play. It unfortunately froze completely on round 9 but I got a good idea of the game by then and to be honest, I was not doing so well by then :)
Fun game!
Nice job

Nothing sus in log file.
Some notes:
Sometimes the human enemies are stuck behind trees and can't be clicked on.
Sometimes the menu gets stuck on the buy screen.
A nice quality of life feature could be the ability to queue up actions while the game is paused like in many other RTS games as well as hotkeys for various actions.
Overall great game though!

Game freezes for a bit with each wave. Probably during the spawning phase. Some of those lumberjacks can be very stealthy  hard to target behind a tree.
 -> Wave 23 ! Wohoo
I really enjoyed it.
Thank you for sharing your game on my Twitch stream (MsMiaChar). Here's a link to the video (game starts around 02:30:00): https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1446760516
You have a neat little tower defence going on here. Gameplay-wise it all seems to work pretty great. Quality of life improvements would be welcome (like seeing the range of squirrel archers if it is finite + overall balancing), but there is a good base here. Graphics are simple, but effective. The colors fit together really well. Sounds and music are nothing too special, but they add to the experience nonetheless. The application crashed on me at one point, but by then I had already experienced most of the gameplay (I think) so it was no biggie. Very good job overall, keep it up!
As for the game I sometimes had problem with clicking enemies when they hid behind the tree which was pretty frustrating. No problems other then that.
'objdump -p' points to correct path and library names (*.3.0)

I guess those should create a hierarchy in which *3.0 libraries are symlinks to *3.0.0, but my linux distro does not recognize them as symlinks for some reason  (the bottom test_symlink was created by me to see if it works)

I liked the simple pixelart and the idea that you gather resources to buy units. Mood was good, music was maybe even too simple, it got old pretty fast, but still fit the minimal graphical theme. I think saving the forest was clever use of the theme as it can be pretty same thing irl.
I wasn't sure should I have been able to remove squirrels when the trees are being whacked, but I could only if I clicked the tree before lumberjack begun hacking it. After that the squirrels were doomed if I couldn't kill the lumberjacks.
The game was pretty difficult right from the beginning and I think I faced a bug as I saved up for a bear and when I finally bought it, it never came. There went my all acorns so I lost the game soon after that. I had already tried the game couple of times and didn't try after the supposed bug anymore.
Anyways, kinda pretty and complete game. Was quite fun to play after a few tries. Good job!
