Nice graphics and mood. The game needs more feedback to the player and will be great.

Good entry, pretty cool that you added a story.
The jumps feel kinda floaty and enemy attacks are hard to dodge once you're in range. I also didn't seem to be able to do damage with the spells ?
I like the alternative paths that give you bonuses.

Nice little platformer and a good concept. Agree with another player that the character feels a bit floaty. Feedback would be great, I couldn't figure out how to eat a mushroom.

The reaper was getting stuck and would also probably be an idea to have the reaper get distracted by the corpses you leave or something.

But the level was good, and I thought it looked nice, was smooth and the music set the mood appropriately. Thanks for the submission!

It's nice that you created a plot in 72 hours, and i like gameplay a lot.

Nice mood :) Sometimes it was hard to distinguish the foreground (platforms) from the background.

Amazing job getting the graphics to look so crisp. I love that look. Any tips on how to configure unity to look like that?

nice mood and good gameplay, overall I agree with previous comments about gameplay and feedback, and the background elements. But it was fun to play, I hope you continue working on it!

Good job and thanks for sharing!

@adam-jewell we actually used standard shaders and did like nothing to achieve any better graphics :D

Cool game!

I'm against making the explanations totally clear to a player, but I think if you're going to put it, then you should show it. A less fussy and larger font would help more to understand the gameplay.

Congrats on the work. I really liked the music.

Don't know if you made all the graphics & music from scratch, but if so - well done! The game ended up very atmospheric.
Neat little platformer with great story flavour.

One comment would be that the info popups disappear very fast once you pass the spot, so if you didn't expect them to happen - you have to restart, go there again, read it properly... all while the reaper on your tail (I am still not sure if it even pauses while you read).
Also the ending is a bit abrupt, no "Congratulations, you escaped Death!", aw.

Nice platformer! Two things I noticed:
* The position of the reaper may have to be reset when you respawn at a checkpoint. It is a bit weird when you suddenly walk behind the reaper
* The fighting mechanic needs some work. Many players probably missed, that you can hit enemies because there is no feedback. Just tinting them red for a few frames after they got hit would help communicate the mechanic. But still the fights are pretty difficult, because the spell animation takes to long and the enemies are way faster, therefore I mostly dodged the fights.

Otherwise I like the mood you set up, also with the scrolls you put in the second level
