Entropy and The Last Star by plexium.nerd
The multi-generational ship (Entropy) sent out to the stars, only to be forgotten. Its occupants long dead, the on-board A.I. pilot continued to function.
The universe is now at the edge heat death and the starship approaches the Last Star.
This is my first time doing something isometric and using an actual pixel editor.
You want to build up energy production and storage quickly before the star runs out of juice. Building costs metals, which can be mined from the miner. Once you have enough power you can start to data mine the ship to unlock new tech.

I was a bit lost at first, I had to finish the game to understand what it's really about.
I played a couple more rounds to see how I could last longer with a different approach. It only dawned on me the third time that using more of the star isn't the focus, but rather to last as many years as possible. Very fitting with the theme.
I couldn't get better than 45 years. I had a bit of fun tweaking my setup for it, kind a of a shame you end up waiting so much in the end.
It left me wanting more... which, considering the heat death aspect, is a real soul searching moment.
Funny how the land stays well lit after the star has died ;)
Nice game!
