Corbeille de Fruit - A série noire investigation by LeoM
The game is a narrative experience in a 3D environment, about chasing the truth and facing its inevitability. The player is invited to try and delay it, if he or she can…

The three of us worked together to assemble this, one of us doing 3D work and coding on Unity, while the two others used Ink to create a script for the story. Both of us had no experience in programming, learning on the spot was fun and challenging and we enjoyed (almost) every minute. :)
We hope you enjoy our work and will gladly receive any and all feedback, as we plan to keep working on it in the weeks to come, if we can.
Multiple endings are availables.
PostJam fixes available : We highly recommend to play this version, the gameplay, story and graphics are unchanged, only upgrades on UI and some small story corrections and adjustments for a better game experience. (see changelog)
Known bug : Sometimes empty choices diplay and may restart the game if you pick them (so, do not pick them...)

Ultrawide is not supported - I have to manually change my display resolution to play the game. Buttons would be better if the width of them was fitting the length of a text.
I enjoyed the story and the slow reveal - it's well put together.
The fact that the graphics are simplified invities the imagination to fill out the details - which works good for this story I think. It would be great to see the graphics and UI more polished, but I think that staying more vague/abstract with the style will be beneficial in this case.
Hope that you enjoyed the jam! - looking forward to your growth and future projects! :fingers_crossed:
Some music good give it a better overall mood.
I plan to add some a landing page and give to the UI some polish soon this week if I found some time.
Audios was planned but we run out of time, will be for a post-jam, maybe in a few weeks with a visual upgrade too.
@dean-isseyegh : Thanks for the feedback and give the game it's chance. ;)
@arthur-mairs - @wobbleblocks : Thanks :) I noticed you work on the same game, I imagine one of you recommand the other => Double thanks ! :)
@adnovac : Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to fix that on this weekend UI polish patch, as I said, I still didn't get all the UI subtilities in Unity ^^
@lisyarus : Haha, I don't know what ending you get, some are even worst ! We have a very emotional writer in team, she was crying while writing :o
@ccglp : Thanks for the writers, they did an amazing work, fixing every little details (all text have a lot of variables, was hard to keep up some times)
@pquiskamp - @xayos : Thanks, UI is my main margin of progress ! ^^ I will work on that
@aerloth : Thanks for this positive feedback, I won't lie, UI and graphics are like that mostly by lack of time, I wish I had someone with me for the coding :spy: We will probably continue and polish this one, and maybe for an other jam with some shiny new skills ! :)
@mrevilguy : Thanks ! Glad you like ! Look like you get one of the bad ending ! ;)
You did a great job at this game.
Only thing I would suggest is maybe slowing down the camera controls of looking around the room or having a locked camera.

Did you check at the hat ? ;) (probably our most complex -subtile- joke that nobody found ^^ )
