Ancient beast 64KB by Petzi

made by Petzi for LD36 (JAM)
You are at your grandfather's house and you didn't bring your tablet or anything. He's out and you are bored! But before he left, he said you could play his favorite game, Codebreaker, on his computer.

Will you be able to compute anything with that 200 year old, hard driveless beast before your patience runs out?

Is the word-puzzle the end? Just to make sure.

Yup, once you're able to get the word game running, you've won!

This is really funny. I love how you've taken some of the quirks and oddities of old computer systems and exaggerated them. I don't remember having to operate a crank to load disks into a drive back in the day...

I'm glad you liked it. The crank is my favorite thing in the whole game ^_^ I made up the crank, but I didn't research, so who knows, maybe there really was a computer like that!

This is great! I like your joke take on the theme -- it's funny how ancient this technology seems despite being decades old. I would totally use this over Steam!
