Avagiance by Poppy Entertainment

You are a demigod, but this doesn't mean you are imune to death, but you can work to delay that by stealing the life form evil creature. You have been summond to help your people, the people that belive and worship you. Their world, Avagiance, is dying, but there is an escape, you need to use your own energy to keep the portal open in order for them to escape, but the death of the planet is invitabile, so you need to be fast. If you help them for long enough, maybe this hellish cycle will end and you will find a better place.

NB: you don't need to get it to one hundred, the portal is active as long as you have at least 1 of energy in it, the 100 is just a number to make you understand how full it is, is not even the maximum; You move with wasd, use the sword with the left click and shoot a projectile with the right. whem you are in the blue circle around the portal, use your left click to donate enrgy to the portal and keep it open. you will have 45 second per stage to make all the people escape. let me know what you think and if you rate or leave a comment i will be very happy to try your game
YOU SHOULD REALLY PLAY THE DOWNLOADABLE VERSION, WEBGL IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE

About the enemies becoming super fast in the build version, I am not a Unity exper but it might be because you're using `Update` instead of `FixedUpdate`, `Update` updates the game each frame and on better computers that would mean that there's more frames and thus more processing. `FixedUpdate` on the other hand updates the game independently of framerate.
- Fun hectic gameplay - took me a bit to work out what was going on but after that it was sweet.
- I enjoyed the moody atmosphere - the pixel art was great too.
- Sometimes the hit detection for the portal got mixed up with the enemies and I'd inadvertently kill myself.
- It'd be good to have some sort of indicator when you finish the stage. The first time I was confused when the next level started.
Nice job :)
Do the right click do sometyhing ? (I mean, I saw that it shot blue bullets, but didn't see any effect on mobs :( )
I really loved the graphic art, too bad that there is no sound to go with it !
So what feels like an average or okay difficulty might be very hard for people who have never played the game before.
I try to always let someone else play the game before I hit the publish button :)
Edit: just saw your reply, hope you find a fix!
The mechanics could use a bit of balancing - the attack seems much stronger than the projectile weapon.
But solid gameplay overall having to balance between fighting and charging the portal.
