配图.jpg Your heart hurts just a little bit, and before you can react, you plummet at breakneck speed, clanging into a sea of swaying flowers.

"What's going on?" You get up and can't figure it out - oops! You really didn't touch it!

Your head rolls nearby from the fall, and you rush over to pick it up and place it on your spine.

It seems you are definitely dead. The black-robed man nearby is still floating, leaning on a large scythe!

It announces, "Your next life will be a white tulip."

"What?!" You exclaim in shock, "I don't want to be reincarnated!"

"Impossible." The black robed man says as it glances at the money you were buried with and takes it away, "This money will keep you here for a few days, do some good! Maybe your next life will be better."

But, reincarnation would make you forget everything - you really want to? You haven't thought about it ....

Nicely done! I played 2 times and got a dog ending :laughing:

Really touching stories and made me thinking how should I face my own death, and others' death too. :thinking:

Absolutely beautiful. I am astounded that you were able to produce and implement so much high quality art in such a short time, especially the intro animation. Incredible. The story was very touching as well. After the jam is over I would consider going back through to fix a few spelling errors but otherwise I honestly have no notes. Really well done!

Vary cute and beautiful game! The amount of work is astonishing and it works very well. The intro animation is a bit too fast to read but the rest is relaxing and emotional at the same time. I got a few endings but I'm curious how many there are and how they are chosen, at the same time maybe it's better left as a mystery :D Anyway, thank you for this cool moment!

Beautiful game, simply lovely. The music was amazing and the artwork was charming. A great story and so fitting for the theme. Played a few times and got dog, cicada, tulip and dogs endings.

The music and visuals are amazing. I really like that you can get different endings, makes you want to replay it to find all of them. Very good game!

Incredible. Beautiful mood, love the little slices of life you're told through each time's event. The artwork is fantastic and really sells the whole thing.

That was such a wonderful experience!

There was one panel I saw where the words got cut off at the bottom which made me a bit sad, but overall this game was astounding.

Really interesting game. So many different interactions possible and little drawings on the left, it's impressive.

Maybe the currencies on the left could be a little bit visible, cause I took a bit of time before noticing them. This said it's maybe very obvious and I'm super blind.

Nice art, seems like I'm forever destined to be a dog after 4 playthroughs! My only suggestion would be to make the Karma and Money counters more visible as my first playthrough I didn't understand where my currencies were

I really like the doodle aesthetic of the game and I love how you incorporated the theme into a choose your own adventure game. I didn't notice the days I have left on my first playthrough and I was a little confused when I game over. My suggestion would be having the three currencies: Days left, Karma, and Money be placed at the right or middle of the screen (instead of left) so that it is closer to where the player is reading. Overall a very charming game.

This game is really beautiful! Being a choose-your-own-adventure game, this game has the depth of moral dilemma and philosophy of life and death. The hand drawn animation is impressive and music is beautiful! Really nice work!

Cute art! I ended up playing it 3 times to try different things, one of the times I got a lot of money and was able to bribe. Got both cicada and dog endings. I do agree with other commenters, I didn't even see the counts at the left until second playthrough, maybe having them in the middle near the text would make them more obvious.

The art was great! I do wish there was more connective tissue between the choices, and I noticed a few cut off before the end. Also I got stuck once because I didn't have enough resources to choose either option.

Crazy amount of work on all that text, though, very nice.
