Paper Plane by Simone

[raw]
made by Simone for Ludum Dare 50 (COMPO)

Hi everyone! I haven't joined a Ludum Dare in a while, I tried a couple times in the last year, but never finished anything. This time I really did my best to have something decent :) Keep the scope small, have a nice game loop and a bit of polishing.

I hope you guys will enjoy this as much I enjoyed making it!!

Really cool game, it was really addictive I kept wanting to take another turn. May have been good to get a bit more control on the way down so you could glide and collect coins but not 100% sure as it may effect the simple loop. Great job.

I really loved the game! It's so nice and so enjoyable, I had so much fun playing it, it's so polished, the only thing I could complain about is the pickup sound effect, as you play it gets too repetitive, since you use unity you could create a random number between `-X` and `X` values and add it to one, it adds a bit of variety to the effect, all in all, *GREAT JOB*

I love this game! Very clever take on the theme, and the core gameplay loop is addicting and fun. I also like the music and that you adjust the volume. The background gets deeper the higher the plane goes, which is a nice detail. Thanks for the game.

Thank you everyone =)

For once the theme really inspired me.

This time I focused completely on the gameplay, trying to return a decent controller experience.

I really love this game. Its like "toss the turtle" but with rockets! There is so much charm here, I love the diamonds in the night part of the sky and it drove me to keep playing to see if there was anything else (of which of course there was when you fly high enough). I kept getting the up and down controls confused, but I don't know if that is a me thing of if that is a gameplay thing. Great job.

Reminded me of toss the turlte or learn to fly. I kept wanting to go for another round even after finding what i think is the end screen. The SE of the coins is annoying but you can tune it down wich is nice. The gameplay is polished. I liked the idea to change the coin types! Great entry overall

The diamonds really surprised me. And I thought I knew what was going on. This game is so simple and easy to pick up, that I couldn't stop myself from playing. So addicting.

Very simple and yet soo funny game. I also was surprised once I stared to go up and not far ;) (no spoilers)
But just optimizing angles and flight patterns can take hours of your time :D

That was a fun one! I liked the way the ending screen worked, although it took me a bit to find, since I was mostly going for distance to start with, since it's a paper plane. It's simple, but the mechanics work well together, and the upgrade timings felt well balanced.

Nice game! I like the game mechanics. The collecting coins sound is a bit much, but besides that, good job with the game.

That was a fun little upgrade-launcher game. Graphics weren't exceptional, but they serve their purpose. It's pretty satisfying to go from the aurosphere to carbosphere, and finally launch into the gratisphere (then again, reaching it was inevitable, not matter how delayed). Even when I reached what seemed like the final layer, I still play around some more to upgrade even further and hone my diamond surfer skills - so well done on getting me to play past the "ending".

Nice game, very fun to play ! I didn't expect there would be an ending, as I was still on my quest to get more and more coins :)

Good evening everyone here. So if we are talking about travelling, can someone here please help me with the similar stuff? I need to get a compensation from the airline and I have heard that this [airadvisor](https://airadvisor.com/en/flight-delay-compensation) can assist me with it but I still would like to hear your personal opinion about it here.
