Brickroll by adrianafitz
This game is like reverse Breakout. Instead of controlling the paddle and hitting the bricks, you are placing bricks to protect the paddle.
Click to drop bricks and keep the ball in play as long as possible.
Click bricks you've placed to bolster them and change their color.
The paddle will try to help catch the ball, but shrinks with use.
Watch out for powerups that make the ball harder to deal with.

Really cool entry, love the art-style and the gameplay.
The game is pretty hard and and some of the powerups can be merciless but I guess that suits the theme.
Overall very nice :)
Anyway, the idea is great, the ball powerups are great too. I just wished there was other mechanics or strategy than frenetically clicking where the ball will land. Maybe some power-ups for yourself and not for the "enemy" : auto-build, stronger bricks, larger pad, ball power-ups dispelling, ...
Nice start, but too short. More please ! Achievements, quests, story, bonus, things to buy !
Or like classic tetris you can choose a speed to start to amp up the challenge if you want it.
Really fun and hectic and a very solid entry. I agree with above posts that it could be improved by having some build-up and more strategy to it, and I also think the "how to play"-text is a bit hard on the eyes.
But other than that, really solid entry!
Great work!
Loved the ideia and fits very well with the theme, would be super cool to play on mobile!
The gameplay gets a little repetitive since the best strategy seens to be "click as fast as possible", would love to see more of strategic or reaction placement.
Great entry!
