Love the music and bloom on the ship (it's overdone but works well)

I really like the enemy art and overall sounds! Cool!

Would have been nice to have waves or different enemies, as far I could tell the same few ships kept spawning in the same spot. But in terms of the core gameplay loop its solid. Nice work on the menus too, they are really good.

This game was a blast. I really like the music and art style. Ive always enjoyed this play style especially with some bumping tunes!

@austin-sierra We really wanted to add more waves and enemy types, but we ran out of time. We have in mind to update the game so we'll probably add that in the new update.

The music is top, but the shooting sounds were too loud :( Also some sort of score would've been nice. Good job

Beautiful, simple aesthetic and great music. Were you aiming for Nova Drift-esque shape-based models?

@phoenixofforce I am sorry for that, we are going to add a sound volume menu in a future update, we didn't have time for that because of the 72h.

@leolferraz Happy to hear that you like our game! No that wasn't our aim, we just liked how neon glow materials look, so we went with that design.

Nice art, sound and music. The movement could maybe be sped up a bit to get a better feel, and some more interesting spawning behaviour would be nice as well. But all in all very good job and impressive for 72 hours :) With a leaderboard and some polishing you'll have a full game ready.

I don't really have much to say about this game. There's not really an idea here i can give feedback on, it's too barebones. I'll say that the graphics were fine though, albeit a bit confusing in terms of perspective

@maskrosen We have in mind to keep updating the game. Adding a leaderboard is on our checklist.

@roboolet Sad to hear that you didn't enjoy our game. The idea behind it is that whatever you do you are still gonna lose in the end so you can only delay the inevitable.

Hello! Maybe there is a bug but I can't shoot, I tried all my keyboard and mouse. The can catch the idea but in game there is a lack of information, such as a timer. Also use a tween for the player rotation and it would be 100x better.

I always felt like using Unreal for LD is a bit like using an eighteen-wheeler to drive down the street, but I suppose it's worth it for those bloom effects. It looks good, the music sounds great, and I'm always a sucker for a twin-stick shooter. The gameplay could definitely use some more depth, though. A way to move faster, a scoring system, stuff like that, although I get the sense that the deadline got you.

@sagiii Hello! You can shoot with the arrow keys (you can check the controlls on our page or in the main menu) We didn't have time to add a timer on the HUD, but we have a timer and a score when you die or finish the game.

@quinn-patrick Happy to see that you liked our game. Yes, we didn't have enough time to make the game more complex because of the deadline, but we have in mind to keep updating the game in the near future.

Nice entry. I liked the neon aesthetic. Might have felt a little nicer if the camera was a little further out. Music was good :D

Nice game! I too am a fan of making neon games with lots of bloom. Sounds and particles add to the feel of it all. The hit boxes on the pillars felt a bit off, but maybe that's just the top-down view with a perspective camera. I always love to see short and simple jam games that have an extra bit of polish, so good work!

@pixelbrain hitboxes were good, it was the topdown camera, we'll need to change some things so the game looks and feels smoother.

The music is undoubtedly very good, the artistic style is very well achieved with those lights and effects, it achieves the atmosphere very well. It would improve the speed of the game a bit in general to make it feel more frantic, but it's a personal opinion xD great job!

I enjoyed the game even though at first i wasn't to sure what to do, I think it would be cool like others were saying to have multiple waves with different enemies

A very difficult game. I didn't score more than 20 points.

Nice and stylish graphics. Music fits. Thanks for not making this game a 3 hit death (or even worse 1 hit).
