Grape Nanaos: Inverts the player's movement.
Vuvuzela: Stuns enemies visible on screen for 5 seconds.
Fernet with Cola: Applies a screen shake effect.

The execution is limited in the ways a jam-game is usually limited. I think this is a game that relies on its primary loop being snappy and replayable, and it needed fine-tuning to make it feel more...crisp. I don't know if there's a better word. Just needed to feel more polished. The animation was also a little laggy for me. Plus, the difficulty ramp feels a bit off. There's definitely a lot of potential, it's well-thought out and designed, just needs better granular execution.
That said, the power-ups and theme were really great. My first game, I got immediately run-over. I genuinely laughed out loud. And, I cannot overstate this, the art looks so good! Overall, a pretty cool game!
It is fun and engaging to discover the not so much bonuses spawning.

It was fun to test our different items and see what they will do. Art fits the game perfectly and so does the music.
Movement of the units in the game seems a bit janky on my screen. Nothing major but it became quite jarring afer a while. Something that would be very easy to fix though!
I think the game could have benefited from a slightly higher camera angle and controls that feel a bit more responsive.
Either way, nice game, would definitively drink la manaos de uva again
