The art style is awesome. The game play is unique and interesting with a good amount of challenge. The music is a real bop. The only thing that I feel was missing was some UI interaction sounds. At first, the text heavy tutorial scenes had me concerned but playing the game feels pretty intuitive, I think!
Also, it just seems so polished! Great work!
And @human-writes-code thank you especially, great feedback! The missing UI sounds were indeed something we were a bit unsatisfied with.
But we all enjoy our popcorn while reading through your comments ^^
It's a fun interpretation of the theme and the art style of the whole thing is gorgeous!
Nice one!
Great game! It is very fun to play and it is a unique idea. If think that a fullscreen button would be great. As the page background is the same as the game background it is kind of confusing why clicks don't do anything.
Other than that, nice entry! Good job.
About the game play, just as a comment: when I reached for the first time to 1 action left, and already had a match, I couldn't do anything more. I mean, the game play was blocked and I was stucked there: I couldn't continue doing actions nor trying to get more matches. So I started clicking around the screen and suddenly it let me play against the asteroid. Maybe I did something wrong, or maybe I just had to wait the perfect timming.
Anyway, apart from that is such a great idea!! And the experience is super cool!!
But it lacks sound feedbacks on clicks and on what is good/wrong. I didn't manage to have more than one child : i spent all my money on dating people without their love growing... Didn't manage to save the planet long enough :(
Idk if it's normal but I didn't have audio though?
Congratulations, amazing job!
You are intended to get one match at most (we're not judging polyromanticism here but the way the offspring is created is just easier :D). But of course if the "normal" actions are stuck, that is a bug. We'll look into it!
Sadly my genetically engineered super humans failed in stopping the comet. But then, who can be mad at a comet looking like that? I can not.
It was a great take on the theme and the graphics were really funny
The tutorial was nice and everything was well explained.
Well done!
And @caym thanks for mentioning the color pallete! That was important to me so you appreciating it really touches my art heart  We realized during the last testing that cost informations on the card would have been good but were too short on time. So good feedback indeed!
Dope!
@joedev The 72 hours were indeed a challenge for us. We finished last minute... Luckily, all three of us work as software developers / in IT for a living, so that helped a lot :P GameMaker Studio 2's built-in functions, easy shape generation in Photoshop and an enormous lack of sleep did the rest ^^
Thanks so much for your great feedback!
Overall I love the uniqueness and style of it, great job. I'd love to see more from you guys!
The game looks really polished, great work!
@edusilva Yeah, next time we'll try to simplify our mechanics a little bit more. Thanks for the compliment!
@mog13 The color palette and art compliments still caress my soul ^^
@myttz Thank you very much for the good feedback! Indeed we wanted to integrate a certain randomness into the dating phase (the more intelligent you and your partner are, the more bigger is the chance that the opera has a positive effect). But I actually agree that we could have made this better. The impact of your attributes on this chance is very little. We should habe made that more clear
And thank you so much for the "I’d love to see more from you guys!". That one caused a big "Awww" among us
I would just repeat what everybody else said, so I'll just leave it at: amazing work! O:

The UI looks and feels great, but I would have loved some sound effects to just add that little bit. Maybe a different one for each of the action buttons!
The panel with the result I feel needs a little bit more polish, it feels a little bit small in relation to the rest and I found the font also was a little bit too small. Changing the backdrop depending on the action chosen can also make it feel slightly more important.
Excellent entry overall!
By "panel with the result" you mean the text area in the dating screen? We didn't really know where to put that, but you're right, it did turn out pretty small. We should probably have given it some more central place. The font size would probably not have been that much of an issue if we had known how to make the graphics and fonts sharper (which literally drove me crazy. I started searching forums like a maniac about why Gamemaker does this. Luckily I found out so that won't be a problem in future projects).
A changing backdrop is a nice idea! Next time we'll now how to use shaders and particles, so the graphics will hopefully be more responsive!
The procedural portraits with elements from the parents is a very good idea and incredibly well realised with a very adapted art style. The general mood is very fun and all the elements go well together!
I had a bit of trouble understanding why some dating actions went better than some other (I think there is a bit of random in it?), otherwise it was all very enjoyable and fun!
Thanks for the game and great job ☄️
are often impressed by Korean actors and actresses in dramas.
