Our game inspired by famous Immortal Snail Assassin hypothetical scenario. :snail:

As a player you try to avoid touching the snail while it chases you in your house.

You can throw objects to slow down the snail but not every object may not work as you wanted.

:trophy: The goal is avoid from snail as long as you can, every time you fail restart and try again for better score! :trophy:

How to Play:

• A, D = Left , Right

• W+A, W+D = Go Upstairs

• F = Open Doors

• E = Pick Up / Drop Item

• Q = Throw

Note: We couldn't make it to the JAM deadline. But we are happy to finish our FIRST game ever and improved ourselves! So feel free to comment and give a feed back :v:

I like the concept, but the e and f buttons didn't always work. Good job! 👍

Love it, if there's one thing I'm not a fan of is the stair climbing mechanic. Other than that it was a very fun and good looking game.

Like the art and snails :)

Yes, sometimes button E doesn't work. And also I didn't expect to leave home and to fall in nowhere :)

But Is a cat in the game? I saw only cat's stuff

I liked the art style, music, and the inclusion of the theme but a few things could be improved particularly in how the game feels and the gameplay. Grabbing items can be a real struggle at first and the controls are fairly complicated at a glance and even after a few runs they can be a bit awkward to get used to. Also regarding the gameplay, I can appreciate the approach of learning by dying and getting a higher score through that but the game's learning curve isn't particularly steep (which can be a good thing) so once you get used to it you end up waiting for death at the top for at least a good minute. Maybe if that part could be sped up or you were forced to interact more closely with the snail this could be mitigated. The game as a whole however was pretty good and I think it needs to be repeated but the graphics/art style are particularly charming and unique. I think this is one of the games I spent more time playing so yeah... nicely done, really captivating game.

@evgeniya-zapolnova yes there are cats in the bedroom, and fun fact those cats are illustration of our cats! :cat: Thank you for your comment :v:

@pwnzer Thank you very much for your feedback it means a lot! The learning curve and other mechanics are below the expectations because simply, we didn't know how to make it better because its our first game  but yes you are totally right about those factors. And I glad you liked the game. :star2:

i lasted quite a while, but the snail still got me :( 🐌. my main critique would be that the pick-up button seemed to be a little finicky.

As others said, the picking up items was often very hard and a bit strange when dropped they seemed to do nothing. The snail cam is a great idea, but it seemed to be reversed which caught me out a few times. But it's a very cool idea and follows the theme really well, with cute graphics.

Thanks for giving me molluscophobia. The game is simple and fun, and rather wacky. My only problem were the stairs that didn't look like stairs.

Game was fun. I would have appreciated a bit more clear feedback of the effect of dropping various things on snail speed.

:snail: Fun theme, music fit great. I would have liked the controls simplified a bit. Maybe open doors, pick up, and throw all E key and cut the drop functionality just to make it simpler for players.

Damn snail, lol! Love the art in this! Cute little game. Like everyone else though, the "hitbox" on being able to pick up items seems way to small. Still fun though. Great job for a first game!

That was a fun idea, but the mechanics made it hard to play. I loved the snail cam and the slow but inevitable threat of the snail, but I wish there was more you could do to slow it down.
