Happy Piggy Farm by TomatoOmelet
You are a happy pig in the farm. Everyday the town folks will eat the fattest and thinnest pig in the farm. Try to survive as long as you can!
Use WASD or the arrow keys to move. Eating will make you fatter and moving helps you lose weight. A new ending will be unlocked if you survive until the end once.

Background musics and sound effects are from the following Unity Assets:

I'm not sure how intentional this was, but I thought it was really interesting to have a game that lets you play as a farm animal. It's not really something games explore very often, and I thought that this was a cute and engaging way to do that.
Likes:
* Cute little pigs!
* Makes you think about the human relationship with farm animals
* Was a satisfying difficulty
* I laughed when I realized how it ends
Feedback:
* Not too much, I feel like you achieved what you set out to do. Nice work.
Overall, I think this is really cool. I like that you could give this to a kid to play and they would have fun and also maybe empathize more with animals. Well done!
But I really liked it.
PS: Special kudos for relaxing music :)
I got to the end on my first try, though, so either I got lucky it isn't that challenging. But it was still nice. I don't honestly think there's much replay value after that, though...
I also think it was a nice take on the theme, although the inevitability didn't come through that well until the very end.
All in all, I really liked the basic idea of balancing between the two extremes.
I feel like I have the most fun when my pig is eating apple, yet the game don't want me to eat all the apples.
Love this entry.
Wow! Cool! I did not expect the depth, the stress, my motivation to get to the end, the strategy and tactics.
And even I knew better, I thought that "killing two pigs if only one is there would let me survive" ...
Graphics are nice, each pig different. Font does not fit. No need to put "Weight" at each pig, but have the weight number bigger.
Small things:
I thought, I would like to see a ranking during the game, but no it is good not to have it.
I would have liked to have a special pig, even I was in the middle at the end of each round, my eyes had to look for "me".
Congratulations for such a fun, surprising deep game in the short jam!
Well done! :smiley:

I appreciate the amount of art and animation. Having different types of pigs is really nice, and I like the alien creature. I few more sounds could create a bit more engagement -- some oinking and footsteps, perhaps.
Very good entry!
