this game was really good and unique. The combination of serving customers and fighting zombies was really fun.

The graphics are well done and the game plays quite smoothly

Enjoyed the game a lot. Combining the cooking and zombie killing was very innovative and fun. Music and graphics were very well done. Adding more types of food or weapons would've made it even better but given the time constraints it's understandable why this wasn't done.

What a fun and unique take on this genre! I absolutely loved that I could like, carry a burger into the dining room and fire off my shotgun at the same time. Felt so powerful. Great work!

This is a really fun take on zombie and diner games. I appreciate how patient the customers are while I'm trying to fight off a horde.

This was a fun game and I can see myself playing it a lot. I guess the one thing I'd like is there a way to fix the windows? I'm not sure there was. And the controls were a bit unwieldy but makes sense, just takes time to get used to them. Good overall and amazing what you made in only a few days.

This was incredible! So much polish for so little time. You got tutorials and all kinds of building crafting purchasing systems in there. I'm impressed, very well done you guys! The idea of combining these 2 game styles together is really unique too, amazing amazing job. Love it!

Nice game! Sadly not very challenging once you stack enough turrets in front of the pantry.

I'm impressed by all the mechanics you had time to do! a restaurant simulator, tower defense and zombies game! The game feels great too with a nice concept, great job!

Great game. Makes me think if Jonny Bravo was a chef at the end of the world haha.

I stacked turrets and could have played forever!

This was a fantastic entry. The gameplay loop of balancing serving vs. defending was surprisingly fun!

Not only that, but you created an _extremely_ cohesive atmosphere: the music, the sfx, the art, the animations, the little polish with things lighting up to indicate selection...just a fantastic job all around!

For purely the sake of adding feedback, which I do for every game I play, I will say two things:
- It felt weird to me that the gun was attached to the player sprite only via flipping the x axis. Meaning, when you aim in a different direction than youre facing, it looks really awkward when the bullets come flying out of the tip of the gun on the right and go through the player to the left. Maybe a 360deg rotation for the gun would have been a better design?
- I wanted a little more variety in terms of things you could buy/cook. I mean, this is obviously something you guys would have done if you weren't limited on time, but I really would have loved to experiment with different guns, food options, rebuilding barricades, etc.

Honestly, with the time you guys had, this is just a phenomenal game. Truly, I had the most fun playing this game so far out of any other.

[EDIT]: forgot to mention...your tutorial is top-notch. Best tutorial I've seen so far.

Got to level 22 and then stopped cause 22 is a great number.
I really enjoyed it, thank you. =)
My only gripe has to do with the tutorial, it felt phenomenally slow due to the zoom ins and everything.
There is a humour to it as it brings me back to those classic games, but for me right now I just want to get to the gaaaaame and I understand the premise so the slower intro isn't needed. A hover text with arrows while still allowing me to move is my preference, but I understand if this was not done for artistic purposes.

If I wasn't so tired I'd probably have kept playing but here we are.
Well done. :D

Cool!
This one made me laugh!

I think it would be cool if the chef's gun rotated around the player and pointed at the mouse.

This is a really fun and beautiful game. I got softlocked and died though. I think it happened when I pressed e while the lettuce was cutting.

Very well designed and executed with great artwork, amazing game loop innovation, and smooth gameplay. Pretty funny stuff

The only suggestions are only implementable if you had more time, nothing BIG:
-Variety of weapons, food, tower defense placement
-A mechanic to fix windows
-The gun firing and aiming was a bit wonky. This may be an issue with my mouse though as nobody else seems to have had it

Great job

This is one of the most fun games i've played in this edition! It is so active and chaotic, mixing cooking and tower defense your location is very clever and well executed, keep up this great game! Congrats :v:

Nice combination of action and management. I did fine what I think was a bug in that I placed an empty plate on a cabinet and then couldn't plate up anything else but otherwise everything worked as expected. Also, awesome tutorial, especially given the time constraints!

Pretty damn fantastic. The WASD is a little tough on my fingers, though; would be awesome to have a controller.

Very Nice Submission! You have yourself here one of the most complete foundations to a game with a lot of potential, you should definitly add more variety and maybe some more turrets and recipes. Very fun and polished! Well Done!

This is a fantastic entry that you guys should be proud of! Incredible amount of polish, the mechanics are well implemented, the graphics are great, as is the audio. Nice tutorial, too. Super fun to play. I will say that the combination of cooking and zombie game was a bit odd (possibly in a humorous way), and either of the approaches could've worked on its own. Either way, great entry!!

Awesome game with oodles of polish and fun, this game should not work but it really does! Only complaint is that the player moves a little too slow for me but other than that it's great!

Fun, polished and mixes genres well! Shooting feels kind of weird with the bullets coming from the hand and would benefit from more visual feedback. Nice job!

What a unique and fun entry! I only managed to make it to Wave 7 but I felt that the gameplay loop was strangely addicting! I never liked diner dash style games but somehow I really enjoyed myself with this one!! Really great job! I love that there's a nice tutorial made too. Overall, really great job!!

a great job to create an overcooked meets tower defence mechanic within the time constraints of a game jam! I found the concept funny and silly! Would have liked some variance in orders, some negative or positive effect about how fast / effectively I fulfilled the order.
