After Countless resumes and interviews later, you finally land yourself an intern position as a new graduate from college. You can't wait to launch your career as you enter the office. The goal of the game is to complete 100 files assigned by your boss to become a full-time employee!

I liked the concept, but the gameplay was too repetitive in my opinion. I also can't see how exactly this fits the theme.

The cat was cute though.

Pretty cool! I had a similar idea, except I made it a card game. I really liked playing with the cat and choosing what to drink or eat. Too bad I could only make it to file 86. Very sad that the intern had to die. I had to choose whether or not to die petting the cat or working. I chose working and now I regret that decision :( Thank you for the game.

You owe the vending machine $20 :') died from fatigue, after this Jam I completely relate. Love the game and the music. Also a psa... having a cat in the office does not make you happy, it walks on the keyboard and puts it's bumhole in your face. No cats in the office people please.

The setting and gameplay are amazing! I can't wait to get home and terminals to compose my other 90 files.

It's absurd that I have to pay for food at work!!

I loved the pixel art of the game, also It is my kind of games I died for lack of sleep jaja I thought that this wouldn't kill me.
Also the music is very nice.
I'll try again to see if I manage to go further than 10 docs :)

This is my favorite that I've played so far! I feel so seen by this game haha... just balancing the different bars is enough work in itself, and I only managed to crank out one file every few minutes. It's hard to call it _fun_, exactly, but it captures the theme very well. The graphics and the music are also lovely!

I enjoyed this entry. I thought the idea was fun and played it for a little while. I liked that bonuses came up. It made you want to get just 5 more in. Were you able to complete it from start to finish? I was wondering if the balance is there since I was having so much trouble keeping everything up and enough money to feed myself.

I think the graphics and sounds are good. Nice job making a game in 48 hours!

@blockerz The goal of this game is actually to complete as much tasks as you can until you die, so the 100 target is actually impossible to fit the theme lol. However, there are ways to live longer with some planning. For example, you can drink beer to get sanity at the expense of some tiredness at the beverage machine. Thanks for the comment and feedback!

Nice game, would be interesting to make the cat move around the office so the player has to go to different areas.

Had fun playing this game, thought the graphics and audio was great. While it is repetitive, I get that that's kind of the point. With more time you could have solved that, but for a game jam this is great

I love the music and the graphics! It took me a while to understand how the game worked at first, but then it went smoothly. Great game!

Really enjoyed it.

The pace is a bit slow for me. It is like a slow drain of your insanity, and this made me realize the work in real life that is like this :grimacing:

I liked the audio and the graphics!

Really nice submission. Loved the music and I like the idea of having to keep yourself sane while doin so much work (Deth LLD hahaha). I do wish there was more to the game though. In general it feels quite passive as a lot of time is spent just sitting around waiting for your bars to go down to a point in which you have to stop. I think adding some time element could give the game some extra challenge/activeness that would help the game stay more fresh.

Really nice concept and gameplay. The gameplay was engaging. The only thing I would have preferred is to have had different office work other than just completing files in that way it wouldn't feel repetitive.

Would have been nice to see some kind of outline around the bars so I could see my current bar vs maximum bar.

I like to think of my cat as a sanity cat, I suppose. Really cute game, and perhaps a little true to life for folks with desk jobs like myself. Wasting away the days while staring at the screen, all the while the simple things like cooking and sleeping get pushed to the side. A little cruel to think sleeping makes you hungrier and less sane. Definitely true that taking care of my cat is about as strenuous as my computer job, if not more! Really well done.
