Thanks everyone for the replies, we have a lot of ideas to implement, but I don't have much experience with Unity, it's very big mistake to upload build in last minute. I think will be better making posts and build in first day. Now I'm working on core mechanics.

It would be nice to have more level interactivity and character animation. Congrats on your first jam!

Some advice:

- The music is a 3D audio source so it goes to my left ear as I move right
- Could do better on the level design, try look into experimenting with Tiled
- Try use proper Unity UI instead of ImGui, it will make the game look a lot better

Congrats on your first jam

not bad, some effects or particles would had helped to see that player is moving (like, if you run on the water, cannot see any movement)

The silence starting from a few minutes made me really nervous that something unexpected would show up and scare me :D Congrats on your first jam! I like the idea, some improvements would be nice, like some character animation and bigger UI. Also, I was not really sure what to look for and I could find anything. And the timer went negative after I ran out of time. Still good job!

maybe you could have given some sort of indication of what "exit" looks like in the beginning. i wasn't able find it either.

Well done on submitting your first game! Of course it is a bit rough around the edges, and there isn't much to do, but it is still a million times better than not submitting. It was cute to see the Discord screenshot in there and I would have preferred to see a few more simple easter eggs to make it more interesting.

I am not sure if there is an end, but regardless, it was fun for a bit to walk around, and I hope you are not discouraged and have another go at a game jam!

Congrats on making your first game by your own!

It's a very fun concept. Improving the level design and maybe adding some queues or hints would be great.

Nice work!

I think its ok there is not much art... it gives the game a level of humour and difficulty that I enjoy. I like the game and find it very unique. (I have no idea where the EXIT is XD)

Didn't find the exit, found a white rectangle, is that it? Not sure if It sould have triggered the end touching it.

Congratulations on your first jam. It's my first jam too :D. Some animations and particle effects would have made the game more fun. And I couldn't find the exit, because I didn't knew how it looked like. But a nice game overall

I feel like I've been everywhere, but I didn't find the exit :/ Speaking the truth, the game needs a lot of improvement to be enjoyable. You could have gone more creative with what you got here - better placement of walls, the boat can be pushed so you could create some objects to be pushed inside the island, etc. etc. Just something to do, so the game would feel more interactive. I think however that the soundtrack was quite good.

First of all I would like to welcome you in the Jamming community :)

I'm not sure if you submited this game correctly, because I don't see any ratings available for this game.

Congrats on the first Game Jam entry. I also couldn't find the exit. I felt as though there was no need to zoom in or out because there was no benefit to being zoomed in.

I'll be honest, that's probably one of the best psychological top-down walking simulator game on the island with Venom-like figure as the main character that I have ever played!

Liked the way you integrated the credits and the sound, couldn't ever find the exit though the text for the time was split up as well it would read 3:21 (newline) !

Lol I felt bad about not being able to find the exit, but I guess I'm not the only one! Congrats on your first jam! The main lil character is absolutely terrifying and I love them. Making the art and background more atmospheric and perhaps adding bits of story here and there could really improve this if y'all want to keep working on it!

Congratulations on your first game jam! Not sure how to rate the game, for some reason the rating system isn't showing up for me...

In terms of feedback, I think you started on the right track with some of this. The creepy character design really works, and the concept of being stuck on an island and having to find an exit with little to no help is quite cool.

Definitely one of the games where execution needed more time. The character design is so cool, I would've loved to see animations and an environment where it fits in well. I'm guessing you didn't have the time to properly implement an exit or boat-related puzzles. The atmosphere was solid, so those would've brought it all together. A very specific complaint I have is that the environment is too same-y, so when you're swimming along the side of the wooden-like things, you sometimes can't tell you're moving at all.

On a broader scale, I think the art needs more unification. It needs to fit together better. The music is dope, and the 3D audio effect made the boat feel like a lifeline I was supposed to hold on to. Maybe pushing and making it a complete game might be an interesting post-jam project, even if it is a short one with a simple win state and some puzzles. Something I'll look forward to if it ever happens.

Good job! Remember to write a list of all the things you wanted to do, but didn't have time for, or didn't know! And use it as a learning checklist for next jam <3

I think its missing something to keep looking the exit, you just need to walk, with zero help.

Good job on first jam!! You could have placed the walls so that it looks a bit nicer but at least u will know that for future jams, music was cool i was kinda sad that it stopped after a while. Also you should make some kind of end condition even if not adding an exit maybe when the countdown hits 0. But it was funny cause i waited it out and i laughed really hard when it continued down to the minuses. All in all good for first jam and hope you continue polishing your skills.

I think most of the comments said what I would say, so I'll just say that some kind of sound would be interesting, and put the controls more clearly in the tutorial.

Congratulations on the project!

Congrats on your first game jam! I love wandering around in strange games, so I was able to get something out of this. The walls could be organized a bit better though and your game could be slightly more animated. I had fun!

I felt bad about not being able to find the exit, so I found some fun pushing boat to the world border. Still wondeing where the exit. Periodically I had feeling that music reacts to game events, but who knows.

Seems like it's been picked up by others, but it doesn't seem like there actually is an exit, heh. Not much to do but walk around. I thought moving the boat was kinda fun though?
