* Close your eyes, dream of the lights.*

* Take your time but never too much.*

* Feel the lone and watch your tone.*

Cause there is someone in the dark.

overview.png

With only a guitar and the power of his music to fight in a world dominated by darkness, will Purrcy be able to cope with his difficult struggle with the arch enemy, which is the main cause of darkness, the darkness that absorbs all the colors and music that is beautiful in the world?

You must dodge the forces of "the darkness" rhythmically with the music at the right time, you compose the music yourself with your movements (arrow keys) and this will keep you alive, energy consuming light attacks (space) will disrupt "the dark" to create space for your defense. If your energy bar peaks, it will reset the light itself. Your main goal is to defend the areas that are important to your psyche (after jam version only) whilst you stay as far away as possible from the dark. If you fail, you become deaf and fall into eternal silence.

This game was produced by 3 people in 72 hours under the scope of Ludum Dare 50th and the Jam's theme was delay the inevitable.

Loved the graphics. But gameplay was a bit hard for me. Not having feedback from pressing buttons was challenging. Well done!

I notice if you press key, sometimes, the key activate two times, making you wrong right key. Use ASDW to move, Mouse to setting the direction and Arrows to make the puzzle is very hard gameplay. The graphic and the music is awesome. Good Job!

The art style is really unique and cool! Also I liked the mood a lot. Though the gameplay could be a bit easier I guess? Sorry for my skill issues :)

I feel like I needed a third hand to control a mouse and two sets of arrow keys at once. I couldn't really figure out what was expected of me as a player. The visuals and sound were impressive though and I feel like with a bit more time this would've been a great experience. If you make an updated version post jam I'd love to give it another look.

Interesting concept and nice art direction, sadly the player's interactions aren't quite clear and were weardly functionning (especially the character's movement which were really strange). Still a pretty good job tho, gg!

The art style and atmosphere are both great. Although it was very challenging, I had a blast playing it.

Interesting idea, but the player interactions were not very clear and I couldn't understand their effects.
That said, making a rhythm game is quite difficult.

The atmosphere of this game is absolutely amazing. That being said, the gameplay (or maybe tutelage) leaves much to be desired on my end. WASD felt like it only did things when using the arrow keys in rhythm. I understand that my movements are supposed to guide the music but it didn't feel like that, it just felt like tapping arrow keys to the pattern shown on my screen until suddenly there were letters and I had to try to smash the keys out fast enough.

There is a lot of potential in this game, though, and ironing out complex(er) mechanics isn't easy to do in the space of a single jam so very, very well done!

Have some big problem in Input commands. Character movement seems weird too. However, I like the rhythm.

Interesting idea, but I just couldn't get my head around the controls. Wonky unresposive movement of the character, no idea if i'm using quick time events correctly, just got confused...

Nice another rhythm game! Love the concept of playing while moving the character but would have liked to be able to turn the camera with Q/E using the left hand only. The hit timing seemed a bit punishing for me (might also be just my A/V sync :D) in a way that if I was a millisecond late to the beat it'd reject my hit. I really like the L+D+U+R flourishes, never seen something like that before and it really adds to the variety!

Also the art/music/sounds are great and really work together to build a very grounded mood, great work!

Well, It's very hard for me to be in rhythm of this game. But graphic and sound are pretty!
