This is my second Ludum Dare game, and it's the first one I've added audio to. I used JSFXR (https://sfxr.me/) for the audio, and I was super happy I could download the WAV files. (I'm on a Chromebook, so I had to get creative with what tools I could use...) I made the game in Godot, and I used Aseprite for the artwork. This was all done by hand, so I guess it could have been in the compo if I had finished it sooner.

Overall, it's not very fancy, but hopefully it's more playable than my last game. I even added enough mouse inputs so it's technically playable on an iPhone/iPad in the Chrome app (would love to hear how that goes for anyone who is willing to try it out and read/tap the tiny buttons!).

Also, I'd love to hear people's high scores! The game-over popup will give you a time, which is the amount of time you played, plus the amount of time you banked on the clock if you decide to end the game early. My score after playing a bit was 135:00, though I only had to play 5 or 10 minutes to earn enough cash/time for that.

Thanks so much for playing, and I look forward to checking out all the awesome games everyone made!

I really like the gameplay dynamic between getting as much money as possible and keeping the time from hitting 0. Fun game!

The decsion making on buying no trash or not was a nice touch, and the game is pretty impressive for something you made all of by yourself. Nice job. I lasted 12 minutes.

Nice! I enjoyed the puzzle aspect of working out which upgrades to get. I stopped after getting over an hour on the timer and I could have continued indefinetly. Quite a lot of bugs but I still had fun. For anyone wondering the speed maxes out after reaching 7*10^40ish although it stops having an affect after 64ish.

I like the idea of having to manage buying things while also moving! I found the first 30 seconds to be pretty hard, and after that managing everything was fairly easy. I'd love to play something like this where you can keep upping the speed (or are forced to increase the speed) without it becoming impossible to avoid objects! I'm a sucker for that kind of endless game (like Cubefield for example), and combining it with idle-game like mechanics (or just requiring input to manage numbers) would be pretty interesting! Nice job!

Haha, fun game! I like the almost rhythm game feel of the money falling. I also managed to get the "infinite" by having my speed set to 1048576 with no trash. But the game was complete, playable, and pretty amusing! Nice work.

I liked it! Having a score that displays in the end is something lacking from our entry, good idea. Enjoyed the gameplay, thought it was a smart take on the theme. Also the title Wheelbarrow Cash Blast is amazing.
