Great game. Had fun trying to optimize my routes without getting in the way of the boss. As per usual I did not read the instructions and it took a while to figure out that I was supposed to use F to fix things. In hindsight obvious and I should have stayed at the instructions screen a bit longer. Maybe a textbox could have said - Press F to fix things or somthing. Either way, great game. Good job.

Congratulations on finishing the game (especially to all the new game devs in your team)

The relaxed mood of the game was great! I usually struggle to rate mood in game jam games because most don't have any particular. But this is one of the rare entries that really gets you in a certain mood. The combination of aesthetics and music simply felt good. Good job!

Barely managed to survive the shift but I did! ;)

I... didn't get fired! Well that was a surprise! I was sure I was going to get the sack. Tolerance meter was running on the edge as well haha.

Fun little game, and lovely office you made!

Hello

Thank you for your entry. It sure looks promising. Office is well done - from graphics (i wasnt thinking even for a second that this is not how office looks like) and the sound which was on the right border between "rushing, stressing" and "its just a game, keep calm".

As an area for improvement I would introduce some clever AI. I think that for this type of game the GOAP would fit very well: https://learn.unity.com/project/goal-driven-behaviour?courseId=5dd851beedbc2a1bf7b72bed. It is because I did not have a problem to avoid boss at all. So combination of problem (like broken machine for coffee) with need of the boss (like he just decided that he needs a coffee) would require player to cross path more often.

Thanks!

@snory Thanks for your feedback, I do agree the AI can be improved by having it GOAP especially for the boss as you mentioned. It is something that could be considered for the next game jam

Really appreciate all your feedback

I like the concept, gave me an idea about what it's like to be a maintenance person, lol. The graphics are cute and I love the funny little details.

It was pretty easy to get through though, I would think about ways of making it a little bit more challenging. Neat game!

@anaxie-studio Thanks for giving it a play!

One of the things that we need to spend more time on is balancing the game, it does get harder on later shifts with more tasks and reduced cooldowns between them but it needs a lot of tweaking to make it just right.

Thanks for the feedback

Congrats on finishing the great game. Some animations of the characters and a highlight, to see new tasks on the busy screen, would have been great.

I really liked it, great game!

The only thing that I think could've used some more work is the environment, but that's a small remark :)

Oh. The game is very similar to ours! But your boss character is not as cute as our little droid, sorry! :3

Jokes aside, very nice game! Wonder how many cups of tea all those employees drink...

@yogurtthehorse Don't tell our artist but I have to agree with you, your little droid is adorable

Great work, and congratulations to the first time game devs! A simple gameplay loop but it had a bit of challenge (I could do my tasks plenty quick but kept running into the boss without looking.) The background music was nice and the shaded outlines of the models look interesting. Only improvements I would suggest are tidying up the tutorial screen slightly, and maybe making the player's start position more obvious at the beginning (I had to move around a little before I realised which employee I was.)

@jamieok Thanks for the feedback, when play testing people also said it was hard to see the player. We kinda forgot to act on that part :/

Very easy to understand and fun to play.
The AI looks really good, not like they are randomly moving around, though their hitbox is a little big.

Nice work!

Doing the jobs of 10 people, then getting sacked for underperforming. 10/10 for realism.

I'm super impressed that you managed to make this in 3 days. Very funny (and realistic) game. My only gripe is that the warnings are kinda hard to see because they blend into the background, but maybe something like lighting effects would fix that.

A fun game with some charming animations and a very nice art style! I'm not sure if I got fired for drinking 2 cups of coffee in a row or if there was something else in the room i didn't notice. Either way 10/10 for accuracy

First of all: Congratulations to those who started on game dev with this jam!

The game is really neat. The only complaints I have are that it seems to be too easy, and that it gets a bit repetitive after a while. In that regard, it's nice that the game has an end.

The music was really on point, but some sound effects would have improved the experience as well.

I recorded myself playing, message me on the Jam’s discord @ Dark Peace and I’ll send it to you. I had some trouble seeing where the icons of the things I needed to do popped. Idk why, maybe because everything is colorful. Maybe they could have a more energic spawn animation.

Good job on getting this together and making it in the jam. Sound effects for the different actions would make a big difference, but apart from that it's a nice little game. I like the cartoonish shader and the characters.

These coworkers are some of the most inconsiderate people I've ever seen. Just walking right in to me and pushing me towards the boss like they want me to get fired. "I'm trying to fix your computer damnit! Get out of my way!". And what's the boss doing, just walking around the office all day and people better stay away from him, lol. I made it to shift 4 before being fired.

Fun graphics and fitting audio (which did get a bit repetitive unfortunately). I think you nailed the difficulty, and the game works well overall! I would have liked the meetings to be slightly more common. Also, does no body else work at this place?? Gaaah
