Windtrails by homeworld

Spring arrived, the wind picked up, and it is time to glide. Flow with the currents and achieve zen. Or don't. True enlightenment is internal. This is just quasi philosophy so if you want you can also not enjoy the ride. It is up to you. Or you can not ride at all and just fly down and crash. I wonder if anyone actually reads these.

Very zen! The music and the mood was very pleasant. The currents were a little hard in the beginning, but after a while it flowed nicely. Great work :)

Fun relaxing game! The graphics, audio, and atmosphere are beautiful! I wish the flying controls were a bit more responsive, but otherwise great relaxing game! Also, really like the image showcasing the controls, very clear and looks great.

Incredible jam game ! I really enjoyed flying above the islands and letting myself carried by the wind. The graphics are nice and the music is really moody.

Good job

The game looks incredible but I couldn't run it properly: I'm using Linux so I had to run the Windows version under Wine emulator, and the game ran at 3-4 FPS :( If you make a Linux build, I'll happily try it!

This game is amazing. I love all the visual effects to indicate the wind and make the game look beautiful. The gliding feels really good and the way the glider interacts with the wind is really cool. I can't imagine how hard that must've been to get working right Lol. The sound effects and music add to the beautiful aesthetic and slow-paced gameplay to make the game really relaxing. The only problem I have with the game is that it seems you can stay in the air indefinitely if you don't make any mistakes, but once you start to go down it can sometimes be impossible to go to land. I think this game would be awesome to build a bit more on, maybe adding larger islands and focusing on exploration/relaxation.

Great job! It was relaxing and I really liked the physics and the art. One thing I noticed is it was very easy to stay in the air. I noticed that the sail had some tears and I was thinking it'd be cool if it tore as you flew so it became harder as you went.

One other small note, I would recommend remove the arrow from casting shadows. It casts onto the glider at times and feels off.

Yikes. That was incredible! It would have been nice if one could see the velocity and altitude values when in third-person view (but that should probably be something one could toggle, as just having basically no GUI - just seeing the world - was incredible.

Really fantastic visuals, and catching the wind to see how high I could get was a fun self-imposed challenge. Unfortunately I forgot about the first person mode so no idea how far I got.

That's a really relaxing game! I like the atmosphere of the world and music a lot! But I don't understand what I have to do, arrow points to something what I haven't arrived.
Thanks for making this game!

Very relaxing game.

I appreciate the controller support, especially for a jam game!

While it was nice, music was a bit loud for me and not a huge fan of being forced into full screen, but I get it. Much more immersive that way.

Really enjoyed the sound effects and graphics.

Also loved being able to go up high, nose dive and then pull back up. Very satisfying controls.
