Is new version (https://play.unity.com/mg/other/dodge-it-v002_5) better?

Game runs ok but at 5-10fps. But browser uses CPU and GPU just a bit.

v002_5 shows 1 fps and CPU usage much much higher! But if look straight up or straight down then fps is much better. But I can't play properly if I can't look around =(

I couldn't play in fullscreen 4k (pc with decent specs), but in the little browser window it worked alright. Maybe try cutting a PC build? WebGL always feels slightly worse. Anyway, the world deformation was a really cool effect and I like the idea! I would have loved another enemy ship moving randomly or something to spice things up a bit, but a very technically impressive entry. Thanks for a fun game! :)

Very slow, but fun nonetheless.

Sadly the FPS is too slow to play properly, but the idea is there and seems promising especially to fit the theme. A bit of optimisation and polish and it could be a challenging little game :)

A bit laggy, and the web browser wouldn't capture my mouse, making it very hard to see what I was dodging. However, a good proof of concept (and thus a good jam entry) for a game of a similar style. I think the displacement of the cubes and having them stall in the air looks pretty cool!

If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball!!!

Second version ran a little better.

There wasn't really any challenge in dodging the shapes falling on you, but the explody time cubes thing I like a lot, and would like to see more.

1 fps in broswer and every 5 second translate to main menu.

For me (on a decent PC and the small window on itch.io), performance was playable with Firefox.

I found it too easy to run around in circles and have the ship never come close.
Some sound effects and a faster enemy or even some level design (more like a parkour track, where you try to run away from the ship dropping things on you) would probably make the game much more engaging.

The explosion effects where great! Thanks!

I played the second version, it was a bit slow but playable. It didn't lock the mouse though which made turning annoying. You should provide downloadable versions if web performance is a problem.
Also game over two seconds after pressing play if you don't move was not ideal. Not enough time to figure out what the deal is.
You can also get stuck on the uneven ground which was annoying.
Decent idea though, and I liked how the explosions freeze.

I like the idea and the minimalist looks, unfortunately it was quite unfinished but definitely something to continue working on!
