MYRKRID (Darkness in translation) - a game about preventing the death of the world.

RAGNARÖK IS COMING, WARRIORS.

Don't let your Viking die without a battle. For if the world will be doomed you will not go to Valhalla, you will die without honor. And you cannot feast with your ancestors.

You find yourself in a mysterious village, where according to legend there are 12 artifacts that can reverse the effects of the End of the World.

Can you delay the inevitable?

TIP: Look for the artifacts inside the village, stacking them on pedestals around the tree in the center.

Be quick, you have time to save this world! ebd4ccede977c357.png env.jpg

Hey, I like this idea of Ragnarok! There are some strange sculptures of gods or whatever they are, they look out of place. And controls sometimes feel awkward, especially the jump. But in common it's a good game!

@sayurinyooko First of all - thanks for a feedback! Thats was our first try as a team at UE4. So yep, we will work with jump and stuff. About sculptures - we had no time for get another, so that was from assets. Anyway, anyhow. Thats really good to hear that you liked it. Thanks a lot!

Wow! Almost Skyrim) Now it's clear why the build is so big, but it probably wouldn't have been possible to make it smaller here.

Most of all I was struck by the footprints in the snow. This is really something I didn't expect to see at all. That crunch underfoot. Mmmmm.... Great.

In some places on the island there is not enough texture on the trees, and in some places you can "peek" through the walls, but considering that this is a game for jam, you don't even want to interpret it as a minus)

I didn't find all the runes, but I think that after some time I will try to collect them again.

There was not enough at least some text message at the beginning, what needs to be done and why. + Warn about the danger of water. I do my best to drown myself)

@gandelianna We tryed our best, so thank you for the comparison with Skyrim.

That was our first attempt with UE4. Next time we will try to make build smaller^3

Our sound-designer is very grateful. He he spent a lot of time on the sound of footsteps.

Yep, we need text at start and some indikator of water upcoming, maybe.

@okamit Thanks for your feedback. Concept was a collective decision. Because delaying the inevitable and Ragnarok added up very well:)
