the feel of the city, the graphics and the music complement eachother greatly - they feel like they are made for eachother, which makes playing the game much more fun! i hope more people will find your entry <3
The missiles frustrated me at first, but once I realized that they are preceded by a sound effect and a visual cue, they were a welcome challenge.
There were a few buildings I could just circle around forever without the cops ever chasing me. I would have liked more aggressive cops. But overall I enjoyed it!
Also Interesting movement decision, at the beginning I didn't like it but I got used to it very quickly and I started to love it :)
Good job overall you did a very solid entry :)
Thanks for creating this game I really enjoyed it.
Shame you can't enter name in the leaderboard. I achieved 3:59.
I sometimes had that a missile strike would happen immediately after I turned a corner where I could not see the road, which felt a little unfair. Also at some point a police car chased me from behind and in the end caught me, but I don't really know how I could have avoided that.
The music could have been a bit more intense for my tastes, but I think the sound effects were chosen really well! The police sirens, and the slipping tires when taking a turn really felt great and were super immersive! I liked the camera angle as well. Nice and low to the ground, which made the world feel very claustrophobic :) Very solid submission to the jam! I had a lot of fun with this :D
Sometimes I'd have no vision of what's around the corner until I turn it, which leads to a surprise police trap. But I guess that's part of the spirit of the game.
- I swerved away from a spike trap at the last second and a cop car behind me plowed right into it
- Cop cars hitting each other and rolling off the road
That said, I do wish there was more to this game. I ended up closing it out without losing around the four minute mark since I seemed to have seen it all, and it didn't seem to be getting harder. I also wish the cops that were right on my tail took more to avoid than just changing lanes. Felt weird for them to just pass me by on the left like I wasn't in a car chase.
:sunglasses:

Sometimes those "rockets" suprised me in a corner or two because I was unable to see it due to a building.
Now I've just answered my question: I guess I could have reached a better score if I would have taken the unsafe paths first, when there is still low the amount of police presence. (Because my guess is that police is spawned on path yoU've already taken, right?)
Anyway, end of monologue. I think it's a fun little game, maybe lacks a bit of depth. But it has a nice atmosphere, it's polished and it got something new.
Nice entry, cheers!
Graphically super nice with lots of different things going on and felt very dynamic, especially with the sound effects.
Overall, awesome job!
