The audio and art is great, I did find the controls a bit floaty and I was only able to get past the wheel section before my hay meter ran out, but it looks a lot of effort was put in, decent entry.

The game looks great, and the music is good. But the controls did not feel really good, and I have no idea how to get very far.

The gameplay is pretty simple and straight-forward. At times a bit finnicky. But the graphics and premise do help out a lot with that.

Music and art is great! I also really like how you have to time your hops for the movement, it's a little clunky but still fun :)

I like how difficult it is to control actually, it makes a skill barrier without being too difficult straight from the start. art and sound are on point!

Controls are a bit strange, but the look of the game is awesome.

i found it really difficult to figure how to to jump over the first fire. i feel maybe some difficulty ramping might be good. it has a really cool art style, well done!

Nice art! Takes time to get the controls down but plays well once you understand! Good game!

The art is really nice, especially the painted style. The cutscenes are good, although I think an indicator to click would be a nice QOL change. I liked the controls, it was like controlling a pogo stick. Nice job!

art and music - aweseome. the controls as others have mentioned are a bit clunky, never quite felt I would know how it react which introduced an unfair challenge - because it was random. But the music made me laugh, very funny and silly game. Really liked the theme, just the gameplay needed a bit of work.

I enjoy the unique character and the physics being applied when you run into stuff. I struggled to make it very far. Feels like if the meter depleted just 10-20% slower it'd be ideal for me, but I could see someone mastering the controls and memorizing the input patterns to ace this.

really hard to control, but the idea is good. i just want a bit more air control, and it's not obvious you have to hold the space bar to jump higher. i thought i just had to time the space properly with the landing. anyway cool game, i liked the music and sound effects

When you get a hold of the mechanics (jumps and cooling) - game gets interesting and actually really intense. There are a lot of games with "timers", but when you're literally on fire it somehow make you sweat more (no pun intended xD)

Game was great. The music was superb, had me whistling along with it. The end of winter concept you went was very cool. Great job!

@lazy-fox @shieldgenerator7 @myazuid @sean-j-karemaker @gamedevalexandr @jamjamix Thanks for the feedback! Indeed, I missed the moment with a more clear comprehensive tutorial :( I hope this omission did not spoil the experience much.

The opening artwork was fantastic!

It took me 3-4 lives to realize I could walk through the cabin/house after burning down the wall. Also, some indication how when my "jump charge" was full would be helpful.

Pretty game! Unfortunately it was too hard for me. I just couldn't jump over the first gap, even with holding down space for a while

Ok, so there's obviously a lot to like about this game. From the beautiful artwork and intro/outro scenes to the interesting physics-based level elements. I had fun playing the game after I figured out what I should or shouldn't do, which wasn't obvious for me. Some suggestions: The wheels should be on fire, or else it doesn't make any sense why they lit the player on fire. And the burnable platforms could disable the hit-boxes (much) earlier when the player doesn't stand on them. I hated bouncing off the invisible ceilings right to the abyss (and the part with lots of these platforms was the hardest). Also a minor thing - I would like to hold the S button to pre-jump instead of Space, it would be more handy (and then you could also add arrow keys). But overall, a very cool submission :)

Grandly authentic! Love the mechanics. But level design could be friendlier, less hardcore. It's like in those games when you can almost jump from the air (due colliders). Fell in love with design and the music is totally making this game one cool slavic experience! Thank you for making this!

Thank you so much, everyone, for your kind words and valuable feedback on our project! It's priceless and warms our hearts a lot!! Of course should we have hadmore time, the game would have been more balanced and controls would've been chacked thousand times.. And the wheels would've been burning, of course, including the big one, bua-ha-ha! Anyways, we are so happy to see interest from you, so thank you again!

Super fluent and cool gameplay. Definitely had tons of fun playing this. Kudos for adding checkpoints haha. Perfect difficulty to I'd say. Music, ambience, artwork all great!

Nice game, the movement controls are responsive and easy to understand, the shooting part is a little hard to get used to, but nothing a few tries couldn't solve.

Was a really nice game. Looks good. Sounded very good. I wish the controls were a LITTLE bit more responsive/less fiddly. I didn't mind that it was on the difficult side to control (that was part of its charm I think), but I wanted a little bit less of that. Had a lot of fun with it. I like the multiple ways you could do things wiht the fire, which also happened to be basically your life.

I really loved the folklore aspect of the intro cutscene - the sounds, graphics and storytelling came together really well. Unfortunately for me the game was too hard but I think there's plenty of potential for cool puzzles with the fireball mechanic.

Great game! the art and music are great, you can see the work there, without a doubt you can work and polish, I would like to see that! xD As for the gameplay, I think the best thing would be to change the sustained jump for a jump and a double jump, the movement on the stage would be more fluid. Great job!!

A cute game! I really liked the pogo stick character scarecrow and it's movement, very original :)
Also yay, you even have some lore and cutscenes :)

It was challenging, but fun, although too hard, but I'm just gonna call this the gamejam disease ^^
(we suffer from it too lol) every game here starts off at level 99 xD

the puzzles were nice and after a bunch of trial and error I was able to pass the first section (after the bridge) with ease :) The slope felt a bit difficult and my fire/life runs out fast - which is a shame because you also have to deal with the jumpy controls and dodging obstacles while timing your jumps - so checkpoints and/or places to refill your fire would have been nice :)

In any way, nice entry, good job guys!

Interesting mechanics, reminds me a bit of getting over it? I did get stuck at the house for awhile since it seemed like I was supposed to jump over it, but apparently I could just move through it. But once I got past that, it felt pretty fun to play.

I really enjoyed this one! At first, since the ritual to end winter was caused by lighting the scarecrow on fire, I thought being on fire was the objective, and dodged snow / ice. It took me a while to figure out why I was dying so fast, ha! The platforming was fun, and I like the pogo hopping!

The cutscenes were cool, and I loved the designs of all the characters. Also the ending was cute, with the flower and all that.

There were sections in the later parts of the game where I got hit by a wheel(?) that seemingly came out of nowhere (from the sky) and I didn't even know there was going to be a wheel there, so it felt a bit annoying to get hit from an object you couldn't have foreseen. Perhaps some indicator that wheels are spawning there could alleviate the problem.

All around, this was a great game. Nice work!

@100th-coin yup, it was our last minute fail: we forgot to swap the sprites and the scarecrow ran away without flames on it! sorry)) and thank you for your feedback on wheels)

Overall this is a decent platformer, easy mechanics and nice difficulty progression which scales up as you continue on. Also liked the intro story and music too, thanks :)
