Fun game! Highlights for me was the music, the backdrop art and time placement, and how the jump mechanics felt. At first I couldn't tell what the enemies were doing to me so some more feedback there would be nice. Lastly I couldn't tell which branches I could jump through.

Really nice for second jam! I have some feedback about gameplay:
- Trees hitboxes is bad, because player canot see platforms on them
- Demons is not dangerous. You need to jump and this threatment disapear
- I think that demons will kill me, because they are red
- Game is too long and gameplay dont have too much situations

I think alot of problems will solved if you give killzone to demons. It can make game harder, and can make interesting game situations.

@kurakurture @andrewdt100 I totally The demons were the only thing that I knew needed to be changed once the game was done

Thanks so much for the feedback!

Awesome art style! Really loved the theme. This is just missing some player feedback, which would really enhance this! Stuff like effects / sounds when you pickup a time clock, or run into the enemy. Maybe a small visual popup with how much time you gain / loose on each occasion. It was difficult to discover that the bat guys take away time when you run into them. Overall well done.

Hey there, great job on your entry.

I think that you could make the clock disappear after some time, it would add more variety to the game. As @kurakurture mentionned the hitboxes and platform deserve a bit more attention. Also I noticed that if you collide with a demon some of its momentum sticks to your player until you jump on a tree. More snappy controls would greatly benefit the game.

Overall you nailed it, keep up the good work!

Hello! Nice game! I love the music, it gets me that sense of "urgency" that the game needs. At the first moment i was scary about the bats but they don't attack me, and that's ok. Still fun! Congratulations. :)

@effe so the bats actually do attack but my bad implementation and lack of sfx makes it poor, Although i have learned a lot about what not to do in the future.. Hope you had fun and thanks for the review!

Nice submission, especially for a 2nd jam.
I like the art style. I kept looking for a score while in game but I mostly saw the time ticking down, so I wasn't sure what score I have until I died.
Also it felt like sometimes hitting the bat reduces the seconds left, sometimes not (when I consequently hit him a few times). But you can add more depth to the game, with more enemies and more "clocks" and make a complete game out of this. well done

Nice game. I had to take my time with the movement physics. But after a while it made a lot of fun.

Unfortunately the theme song is not long enough and stops at some point. Did I play too long? :D

Better visual feedback on the platform-trees would have been nice. But else, a simple nice game

158 high score!
The mood and audio was just great! And the animation effects for the clock grabbing was pretty perfect.

Feedback was my biggest complaint. Hitting the bats, grabbing the clocks, time getting low. Visual or audio feedback really. And of course a leader board is always appreciated to drive people to try again!

Seems like you really focussed on juice with the platformer controls and the magnetism. Good job! I'd recommend a little feedback from enemy collisions and to just really focus hard on the game feel because that's where you seem to excel :)

@skyeward Thanks that is super helpful im glad you liked it, I haven't been doing game jams for a while (this being my second one) and ive been trying to figure out what the problem was i totally agree the game feedback is a **HUGE** problem!

Cool idea. I agree with the feedback about enemy collision. The theme implementation was cool though and I liked it a lot. Good job!

Nice game, love the art style, the guy and the cloud in the background is super creepy! When I played it didn't occure to me to go back to the main page to see my high score, so maybe that could be at the end

@molpe Funny enough the plan was to make the end screen have it just ran outta time!
