Mysni's Revenge by LexiChan

[raw]
made by LexiChan for Ludum Dare 50 (JAM)

Deep in the caves; tales have been told of the ravenous Mysni. You're not sure what you did, but Mysni wants revenge. Build your rail as you fend off elementals and acid spitters, collect Coins, Wood, and Energy shards from barrels and chests, use them at the shops to restock when needed, if you can get to them in time...

This was a lot of fun to make, and there's so much that we have the framework for that we weren't able to get completely finished. I'm currently writing updates and some major fixes that weren't caught on the first round of uploads, getting assets updated to new models, and maybe even getting sound for once!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I think something might be wrong with your build. I tried to open the game and got this message:

I'm not sure if it's expecting me to have monodevelop installed? Let me know if you're able to clear it up, I'd love to try the game.

You have to keep the MonoBleedingEdge folder, if it was not created something went wrong building your game.

Yes, I also did not manage to load mono. Is this the inevitable?

This should be fixed now!! I got all the files except for one while uploading, it should have replaced the one in the drive folder.

Game is launching fine. I did not get the goal... to advance as far as possible? Did not get how to deal with shop - prices over stuff would be good. Also I did not understand how to manage route: no build controls, no buttons to build a railroad segment etc (at least it builds automatically). In other aspects, nice idea for an arcade shooter. I've got interested in gameplay, got pretty far during second run, died by uncertain reason. Also mouse sensitivity is incredibly high.
