Cool defense game that kept me engaged pretty long. The progress felt nice by buying the upgrades and gradually I was able to survive more.

This was really fun, it held me long enough to max out all upgrades. It reminds me of the flashplayer games I played back in the day. Most don't put time into features that flesh out later, as players usually won't play jam games for very long, but I really appreciate having something to work through. It was very satisfying to start actually being able to hold off against the massive wave.

There are a few small things you could have done that would have gone a long way. Finding a free font for example, and changing the timer to display less than two decimal places.

It is the best one I played so far! I really liked the game :D I think it is one I would really spend quite some with it. I like that you can buy the upgrades!

Nice defense game! The amount of content with the upgrades was very cool! A suggestion might be to have something that follows the player's mouse, maybe a weapon around the character that would always point at the mouse just for some more game feel. Overall, awesome game!

Good core loop of gameplay!
think the upgrades are pretty great way to keep the player interested
Did just upgrade Rate of fire and bullet count soo that kinda made it a bit easier

The arts ace! would have loved to see some animations on the Characters!

I din't even notice time flying by as I was maxing out those upgrades. The game could use polish, but the core idea is well executed and works really well, great stuff!

i was surprised how long I played this game, since top down shooters are not really my genre. The graphics are well done, and the two different health resources definitly was an interesting twist

Played Long Enough to get all upgrades.
Overall pretty well balanced gameplay Loop!

Here are some random thoughts i had:
* The master volume sound bar is not really smart, the way it works you can just leave it out.
* the sound gets REALLY loud, once you have a horde around you; maybe its fine to not play all death sounds
* the progression is fine (i always improved by just the right amount per round
* its kind of annoying that you are forced to play the first 2 mínutes; once you are OP. its just a waiting game for most of it. the really relevant part is limited to ~30 seconds per round
* obviously you could add animations and such; but it was good enough for me
* moving into the base is kinda glitchy; it gets annoying when you are teleported back and since you have to run around your base all the time it will usually get you killed
* walking diagonally allows you to move faster

Great work! Especially as this was all ground up! I am glad you stuck with it despite the waning motivation.

I really appreciate the difficulty curve here. I don't know if you designed it or if it was intentional, but I think you nailed it such that each run was just longer enough to feel good. Really fun in that regard!

The UI was really snappy and functional, but I agree with other comments that it could definitely have used some polish as an improvement. I don't know how Unity works with theme-ing but there are some very simple things you can do in Godot that make a massive benefit. I can show you if you like

Overall, I really liked this implementation! It is clear you have learned some new skills since the days of Professor Proton! Good work and keen to see your next entry

A very cool game! Managed to get all upgrades and had 40k$ extra. The game progresses in a slightly slow rate at first, but I love how it descends into pure madness after 2 minutes of playing :) Nice decision to make the generator stop the bullets - frustrating a little, but it forces the player to move and not stay in one spot. Found that the best late-game strategy is to simply circle around the generator, shooting in all directions.

the game is great, very well done. I don't know if bullet rotation was on purpose or not(I know it takes some time to get it right), but I guess sometimes you can just make them round-shaped to "solve" the problem

This was really cool! I liked that as I got more upgrades each round, I was further delaying my inevitable failure. Nice job! I also liked seeing the time differences between each round. I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff.

I went through the whole game and I don't regret anything. But you definitely need to do something about the death sound of the robots, when there are really a lot of them, it's quite loud.

Very nice overall, I liked the sprites and the little animations especially.
If I would change anything, it'd be small bits to the UI - the upgrade button for example looks more "clickable" when it's disabled, at least to me. And the dark green of the score/time is hard to read on the background, it could use an outline or higher contrast.

Very well done, especially for the second game submission :)

Kept me for a while, but in the end, you know getting swarmed is pretty much inevitable even with full upgrades. The fact that you can't shoot through the generator itself was kinda annoying, since it forces you to go around all the time and bump into things inevitably D:

got all upgrades.. really cool game that keeps you hooked.. secret is to invest in money multipliers, rate and bullets first :)

Pretty fun game! Really enjoyed the gameplay loop and how forgiving all the hitboxes were. The upgrades were a nice add to the game but I wish they changed gameplay more rather than being stat upgrades.

I really like the tight gameplay loop and the upgrades <3 The shooting felt a little bit inconsistent to me, it feels like it was not shooting where I aimed at times. This might have been my browser (or my skill lol).
Good job!

Upgrades are such fun, good job on that ! :)

As said by others that start is a bit slow when you are OP. However I liked that there was some variations even later on, my last run was 220secs and I was wondering if the game had anything left new when I got a huge wave of hunters : nicely done !

Only thing I felt was missing was the sense of inevitability, I get that it's endless waves but we're so used to games with levels that it doesn't quite translate that way to me. Maybe a fuel shortage after a while ? Or something story related ?

Not sure if this is a web version issue (navigator?) but I got some crashes at the end of levels.

Awesome game! I was able to make it to about 160s. I love the concept of expanding the map as an upgrade, I thought that was really cool. Great entry!

Lulz. I win when I crash the game, it appears. Most solid game I've seen in the jam yet.

feels a lot like hades. i never really understood what fuel was supposed to do, does it just slowly drain as you play, and you need to pick up fuel and bring it to the generator?
