INTRODUCTION

Hello Everyone! We are CyberLab Studios, at our sixth Ludum Dare togheter! Today we present you a simple game, we are very busy working for different commercial projects, but wanted to partecipate anyway for this special occasion, it's LD 50! 20 years of this amazing jam that unite us all!

GAMEPLAY

Arkbomb: Pinballrkanoid is a mix between pinball and classic arkanoid, with a little twist to fit the theme: the pinball is actually a bomb, it has a timer, hitting the bricks will delay the explosion, when you finish the bricks you can refill them hitting the spot indicated on the board!

This game features an online Leaderboard! Let's see who can beat our highscores, tough the game is a bit difficult and can be a little frustrating, sorry, little time to balance it and polish it, hope you enjoy anyway!

I played this game more than any other jam game so far I love the combination of pinball and brick breaker! The Visuals are stunning, I don't really see how it fits the theme of the jam, but it's fun nonetheless! Also that leaderboard keeps you hooked! Great game!

Fun: The mechanics feel great when you get good shot. Sometimes was a bit hard to control and took a few attempts to secure a spot on the leaderboard.

Innovation: I've not seen this mechanic combination before and I really like the idea!

Theme: There was some link to the theme with the inevitable game over but overall I felt like the game didn't worry too much about the theme.

Graphics: Absolutely amazing! Great set of colours, everything fits together, well done!

Mood: Had some great arcade hall feeling while playing the game. The music helped a lot with it too.

Overall: A very much enjoyable entry! Thanks for that :)

Very fun game, minor nitpick: the high score list keeps the most recent score, rather than the highest one.

The visuals on this game are amazing. Really enjoyed the game and it definitely has potential for a full game

Wow. What a nice game. Great graphics and a quite high difficulty level, wothout beeing to hard. Loved it.

This is the craziest idea I've ever seen. Love it. Games runs smoothly, but in HMTL5 version, I can't start the game. Its like all the buttons are turned off.

It looks amazing and feels great to play !

Idea is also interesting, but I feel like some values/shape of the level could be tweaked to better work with the original concept. Since it's hard and fast, I didn't really care about the timer on the ball at all (Maybe that comes with practice tho).

Good game. Liked the renewing plates portal, music is nice. As for me the ball move eather too slow or too fast. And for the top portal there is kinda strange ball behaviour when it exits from it, it just starts to slowly jumping to the left.

But for the time it took for you to make the game, this game is just brilliant!

The graphics are great, personally I couldn't get very far gameplay-wise, the paddle could be a bit wider especially when the ball bounces at close range but it is a unique take on the pinball genre. Thanks for the raid too!

I'm unsure if the game is really hard or I'm just very bad at it :D

Really a very smart mix. Totally arcade this game. They could make some money putting them in arcades around town. Somewhat challenging. Good for spending coins. Beautiful art and good music to rage (just kidding). Congratulations!


PS: I managed to get stuck there. I don't know if that should happen.

The base idea of the game is impressive as well as the visuals and gameplay. However, in my opinion, the platform is quite small, as a result, the game has a considerably high entry level.

I really really like pinball, it takes me back to the old "Space Cadet Pinball" found in old Windows versions, and this was a very clever idea overall, with some nice graphics and soundtrack.
