**PROS:**
- The graphics are awesome.
- I loved especially the sound effects.
- Typing games? Hell yes!
**CONS:**
- No in-game score counter from what I could tell.
- The game gets a little stale at some point.
My bar was still completely full but I was getting a bit bored (Sorry!) after about 10-15 minutes in, so I let the bar run out. Nonetheless, still some of the most fun I've had on an LD game so far! Thank you for this wonderful submission!!

The only thing I can say is that I'd preferred if you typed words (at least fake ones) instead of random characters.
Also, why practice my typing speed with online typing tools in the future when I can use this? Maybe that would be an interesting way to take this further, making it into a typing speed tool that makes it a lot more fun to practice!
Great work!
Nice graphics, and the little animations are cool.
I like how the letters are said when you type them, and they sound different every time. And each customer has a "No thanks" audio.
@javasaurus @kyra-sanchez I'm glad we could give your fingers a workout ahaha
@lydocia If only sales was this fun and easy irl ay
@kepsert Thanks a ton for putting so much effort into it and I hope you wasn't disappointed with the alt ending, I did cap the level so at a certain point it doesn't get much harder so I fully understand it getting stale after some time without much more challenge but I'm glad you could enjoy it enough to get to that ridiculous score, well done!!
@frasse I've seen that been mentioned a lot but random letter was easier to program and left the game more challenging ;)
@laurens @haastregt We was actually joking about the idea of making a childrens/learning game but we kind of did, my son approved of this and even voiced the salesman ahah
@okamit So glad you liked it, wouldn't really know on HOW to expand upon something like this but could be a fun idea but the game YOU worked on for this gamejam, 10/10 everyone here should give it a play
Thanks everyone for your comments, it means a ton
Different graphics would make it fun as well, with different settings and characters. Perhaps different types of requests as well? Such as one character only asking for verbs or fruits or something else following a theme.
I think of the time when I was learning touch typing, and just some time ago, I was looking for fun typing games to improve my typing, but I wasn't able to find one, I think this could be it!
Good job!
I loved the art and VFX (especially the motivational posters in the back). The sound design & voice acting was so good you had me *intentionally* losing just to hear the dog get angry. Unpopular opinion it seems, but typing individual letters isn't inherently worse than predetermined words. It's definitely harder, but sometimes harder is good! Had a great time with this one; an impressive jam entry.
It would be a great game to learn how to type quickly without looking at the screen.
I type character by character and I can't make more than 12 sales. х)
I don't have much to add! For some reason I found myself unable to get better at it, in fact I think I got worse for some reason lol
Nevertheless, a solid entry for this LDJ :)
Good job!
@svemir @velvetlobster I'm glad you enjoy the game and enjoyed yourself!!
@okamit Love the suggestions, sounds like beeg scope and I've a terrible habit of jumping from project to project so I'm not sure how well I'd do at expanding ahaha
@kingofspill So happy you had fun with it and don't worry about getting the highest score, I'm not even good at the game and I was the one who programmed it ahahah
@adriannowak97 I'm glad you had fun with it and part of the challenge was the not being words so people that type for all day won't have any advantage as there's zero familiarity :P
@100th-coin I'm happy you enjoyed it enough to play it more than once and I'm a huge fan of details so I always make sure to include them :D
@vivyhasadream I'm guessing we unintentionally made a game that could be helpful beyond just entertainment ay, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself with it <3
@studioterrel Glad you had fun with it and I guess you were just... delaying the inevitable ;)
@themadpangolin I'm glad you enjoyed your time with our entry, our main goal was to make sure we were having fun with it and not taking things TOO seriously and it seems like it worked ^-^
@forgin-bits I'm glad you had fun with it, starts off easy so it's easy to pick up for anyone and everyone and a lot of people are mentioning words but that would of been a little too big of a scope (for me anyway) for this entry but an update could happen *shrugs*, glad you had fun with it though
@decadedecaf Another typing game indeed :P I'm happy for you to notice the little things and replayed to hear the different audio clips ^-^ and yes, seems like it's mixed with "words" and letter but letters was easier for me to code, could of been easier with words if that was the initial idea but it wasn't BUT... the initial idea IS on the itch page, v1.1 if you want to see the difference :P
@allax Thank you a ton for the kind words and I'm glad we could allow you to have fun with what we've done
@shumarie I'm glad you appreciate the humour and I didn't think of it as much as a learning game as I type without looking anyway but I guess for somebody that doesn't, they wouldn't really have much choice BUT to with this or you know, you'd get FIRED!!
@mateusboga I'm sure you did great and the game does get faster so it could of been that it may of been a little tooooo fast, but I'm glad you enjoyed yourself with it :D
@sopata Thank you thank you and the calculations for the bar going up and going down is always the same but as you may of noticed, it favours the customer ;) but I'm glad you had a good time with our entry
@phillip-scott Glad you enjoyed our game, real words would of been to big of a scope (for me) and wasn't in our plan from the start and would of been a little difficult to try and tack it on before the jam finished but I appreciate your feedback ^-^
Congratulations guys, for me it's 10/10 because it's so perfect!
Thank you for letting me play your game :D
The visual style is great, and I love how you made the start button typeable, lol. However, my favorite thing has to be the sound design. It's excellent! The music, the sound effects, the little voice snippets and especially the "letter sounds".
I agree a word mode could be fun, you could even take it further and do short comedic dialogues. Really fun and polished game overall, a full version would be neat! Great job guys, probably one of my favorite entries this jam
Lol, that was a blast (Pic related: my first try) Obviously I'm not exactly secretary material, but I need to show this to my mum who is pretty quick ;D
I LOVED the graphics! Really dig the artstyle, and I also love the rough outlines (with pen pressure) etc., really gave this an artsy look :)
Controls were self explanatory, customers were hilarious, I also loved that the letters are spelled out once you type them, haha.
Real fun!! :) Could be like a learning game for people who have to learn 10 finger typing or something.
I'm sad that I couldn't win this when the bar was a the very right, but that's this jam's lame topic for you, amirite? ^^
It would be really cool if you continued to work an this and maybe add actual words and you should just type good sell words or something (and if you type the bad words there's penality, so you have to write them backwards or something :D)
Cool entry, good job!
I really enjoyed it. The graphics and sounds are one of the best I've seen this jam, great job!
I don't have anything to say that hasn't already been mentioned. It does get a little repetitive after a while, but it kept me engaged long enough. Some of the responses were pretty funny.
Also, the game made me a bit depressed about my typing speed and accuracy
Great job overall!
If you would add a “ka ching” for every successful sale, then you would increase the dopamine on the game. ;)
