You are an employee at DEATH CORP.

You decide to revel against the corporation, but you've been fired and cursed to have your soul life drained unless you kill.

You return for revenge against the Repear itself.

One of my favorites so far, and I think one of the most well-put together games of the jam. Some of the most unique art and animations, and the sound design and music were well balanced and fit the vibe. Though combat was a little bit clunky at times, I could see with more time how you would fine tune it. It still works, even despite its clumsiness. All around great submission!

Somehow very nostalgic, despite having never played it before. Has a very Newgrounds feel to it, and that's a good thing. The animations and music were very good, and though it was short, I could see it being extended to great effect. Very polished, and high recommendation.

Its very nostalgic, feels a lot like old web Alien Hominid. I want to see where this game goes, brings back good memories and I can see this making some more.

Beautiful game, great character art, animation and music, nice variety of enemies and bosses. I liked the Alien Hominid vibes.

It's my favourite Ludum Dare 50 game now, seriously
I only didn't understand how this fits theme, but that's all
I liked everything - art, music, gameplay. Hope there will be full game


UPD: Just replayed on hard mode.

The art, music, and feel were great. I also really liked how the lives system worked. Very cool. I wish the player had a second ability, even a simple one. Other than that, great submission!

Really like the music, and the art has style (that melee animation is very satisfying).

I would have liked a larger moveset, other than that this is an excellent entry.

Ok, how did you made this in such little time? That was awesome! Really feel great controller in hand, a good flow and so cool animation! The game was really short but for this quality it's fully understandable!

Really super polished, great looking and fun game - well done to everyone involved! Definitely has a nice nostalgic feel to it. I really liked the uppercut move when you were close enough to an enemy
